OK, these are some good reminders, there’s no question that increasing your mental clarity and boosting your drive, comes with quitting. Yes, there are many ways to kick the habit, Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever is what worked for me, best shortcut I go’ogled that took days without withdrawal.

Reactions, gee where do I start. Well I must say I was extremely impressed with both Ron and Edan. For me it was a bit of gut wrenching stuff. Why? well they are talking about my older brother. So when I started listening I thought, who is this bloke that thinks he knew my brother? Then after a while I realized he was the real deal. So thank you Ron, this is a great interview and I hope I might meet you one day. Thanks Edan, we all love you and none of us would have wanted you to go through what you did. Keep in contact young lady. .... Steve

@@hollywallace.3313really enjoyed your life share about your battle with addiction and the light bulb moment. I was thinking about that myself I’ve been a heroin addict from 18 till now 55 and am sick of living this way. Been to detox many times rehab once. But always end up back to heroin. I’ve been on my knees but not down and out. No jail I think methadone saved me from that crazy place I’m starting to think 55 is to late for me. Even no was crazy addicted had many jobs even ambo for 17 years and own a home but can’t shake the heroin and my working days are behind me.

Gday there I really enjoyed this chat with lucky because I was in the same rehab as him. So happy to hear he’s happy it’s beautiful. I left about the same time back to Melbourne but wasn’t yet my time but still fighting for serenity. My main question was I’m isolated and I don’t know how to do the meetings on methadone I don’t know where I stand with everything sharing is there a place for me there and everyone is clean but I don’t know where else I belong if not NA ?

Hi mate, thanks for your message. Please keep going to meetings. Find connection with people that are clean, that's where you most likely find your tribe and support. Follow my Instagram or Facebook channel @thetruthabout_addiction as I do heaps of motivational videos on recovery. I don't have your email to send you a copy of the Demands, but go to my website www.thetruthaboutaddiction.com.au and you can download it from there (find it in the The Programs session). All the best mate. Give me a ring if you want some advice. Be safe. Ron
