I can apply as a thinner liner with lipstick 💄, and it looks great. I’ve also tried just Staining my entire lips and this also stays allll day.

Interesting! Yes, I’m very familiar with the double wear foundation, it is thick. I feel like you just described the Huda Beauty Easy Blur, it’s buildable (can be thick coverage) but still feels like a natural skin finish. The Tarte isn’t as heavy coverage, it’s more sheer and hydrating/dewy. Both need a good skincare routine and primer underneath. Huda’s primers are great to smooth texture and large pores.

Double wear is more velvet looking up close, and huda’s is more masking and looks airbrushed from like 2-3 feet away.

This was the first time I applied it, but I was going to make a follow up video reviewing how it actually wears, but spoiler alert: it looked the same after 8 hours that day , I didn’t have to reapply powder or anything. Retrospectively, I would apply more primer than I did. Hopefully this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Also, this was not a paid advertisement, I bought these products.

Hi! Ohh I am so glad to hear that. Sometimes it's tricky, because it closes the eye, but I feel like if you only go in half way with the bottom water line, it creates that same sultry look. There are some looks (drama glam) I like to pull that all the way in. I usually do that for a smokey darker eye type of look.
