I just picked up the M&P40 M2.0 4 inch with a 9 mm barrel/mag to swap and use. I'm loving the 40 S&W and this gun. It shoots so well! I probably should have picked up a 40 cal and a M&P much sooner.

I, too, am sold on S&W. I loved your video because I'm thinking of adding this exact model to my collection and you go into pretty good depth. Constructive criticism: 1. Do your homework. If you're making a 39 minute video, you shouldn't have to say things like "I think", "I believe", "I'm not sure, but...", "I can't remember", "I don't know", "I forget", etc. 2. At 21:23 you stated "I did change out the sights on this", then got off-track and started talking about red dots and never told us what iron sights you put on.

What holster can you recommend for that setup?

Hello, I tried accessing your link for the holster, but it says the store doesn't exist. So you still make them? I have the Shield Plus with the rail and bought a cheaper light/laser that I think would work with your holster.

This is my favorite long-gun, KSG 12-Gen 2. I run a SUREFIRE X-400 on the lower rail thus placing my pistol grip further to the rear and actually generates a sure and quick charging and at any angle. The elevator captures the round (any length) at any angle and a positive feed.

Probably the 3rd time i have watched this vid. Very detailed as you use the shield plus alot. My inventory is slim but i go for my plus when I do carry. Your vid just goes over all of the plus issues. Im bone stock on mine. Did add the pinky extension to the 10 rnd mag. Got the safety model whitch can be racked with safety on. Good table top vid.

Bought a used one last week , Even though I've tried it before and thought it was snappy, I love how it feels and points. Definitely need to get to the range and train train train!

I love Smith and Wesson as well! I have the old school 4006 and it has been my favorite! I definitely want to get this gun! Lighter and holds more!

I've had my KSG for about 8 years now and she is by far one of my favorite range toys , as long as you run reliable 00buck or slugs she runs great . the only time I've ever had mine jam on me is when I was using low brass cheap Walmart federal birdshot , other then that my ksg has been running great and its a gen1 with a low serial #. the hardest thing ive had to overcome with it was finding a reliable light mounting option that will hold the test of time . i ended up getting the extended lower aluminum rail and slapping an olight on it and its help up for over 700 rounds since i put it on

M&p 40 is excellent.

I wanted one badly, but Alien gear doesn’t sell an outside the waist holster (mid drop) for my gun (Glock 21 or 21sf) I called alien to make sure. And they confirmed they only make inside the waist holster for my gun. What a bummer, my whole gun belt setup was for the Alien Gear Rapid Force Duty Holster with a Glock 21sf, Holosun SCS Solar Charging Sight and Streamlight TLR-8. Heart breaking!!!! Get it together Alien gear!!!

Do you customize holsters for other firearms manufacturers besides the shield plus? I purchased a light/laser combo for my Springfield XD-M 10mm and can not find a holster to fit with the attachment. Also, I have the shield plus 4 inch barrel with the crimson trace red dot. With the same setup you have with the rail and olight, if you can make a holster for that, I’ll be more than happy to give you the business

WTH are you using slugs for home defense? OMG, you’ll blow through drywall and studs. Very poor round choice for that. Please reconsider what you’re using. We are all responsible for the entire travel of our projectile.

Galloway 22lb recoil spring and two precision mag springs. Just in case i need it.

I have the same pistol. I installed the Apex Duty/Carry trigger which makes a difference I appreciate. Extremely accurate and reliable pistol all around. I've been carrying the .40 since the FBI switched to it. The newer 9mm ammo is a nice improvement but I'm a dyed in the wool .40 S&W fan.

Love my Sheild Plus. Sadly my 13 round clip that came withthe gun was confiscated due to Connecticut laws. So it only came with the 10 round clip.

Years ago. I asked someone about getting a 9mm. They told me to get a 40 caliber. It is more powerful than a 9mm and has the knock down power of a 45 acp. So, the first firearm that i ever bought was a smith 40 caliber. I bought it twenty years ago. I still have that one today. But fast foward to today. I have the 9mm, 40 caliber and the 10mm. All of them are the M and P 2.0s.

Ok. That's all very nice thank you. Now how about 1000 yards with it? How does it cycle? Can you manually put one round into the chamber with mag in?

New Shield Plus owner here. I got it in .30 Super Carry. I bought four 16 round mags. Bought a nice holster, but forgot to make sure that it fit with the 407k. Bought the DPP titanium adapter plate. Got to buy the optic next. I'll eventually get around to getting another holster.

Showed mine to a police officer at the range. When the light went of he said "wait i can run slugs and shot and choose?" They tried hard to badmouth this gun on youtube when it came out. Any issues have long since been taken care off. The gun is every bit what this guy says it is. i put the KS7 style carryhandle sight from keltek on mine and now use it to shoot skeet lol.

IMHO... The SPAS 12 holds that granddaddy designation but hey, that's me and I'm old enough to remember it very well. 😂 👍🇺🇲
