The painting turned out so beautiful, did you use the same brush for the final details such as glasses and facial features? I was waiting to see haha !

Thank you! Oh I’m sorry, it is true that it isn’t in the video! If I remember well I used the same brush for the whole painting. When I am working on my sketchbook, I normally use just one brush for the entire painting. You can actually do a lot with just one brush, holding it in different ways, applying different levels of pressure. This can also help with this need of doing very tight brush strokes for details, leaving some space for edges to be less “accurate” 😊 Specially in my sketchbook work

I love a lot of these pages. It’s so beautiful how just a few lines can tell a story, sometimes better than a painting (frustrating, but beautiful 😂). But at least you have them gridded in case you do want to paint them. ☺️

Thank you 😊 I really did enjoy drawing these. Some in particular for the same reason you’ve just mentioned. It helped to keep going and keep drawing without too much expectations. You are right about the grid! I didn’t noticed :D I gridded my paintings when I first started to paint in the past, but I do not do it anymore 😊

Gosh, this has made me crave something similar to an oil pastel. Something about oil pastels triggers my sensory issues, but if there were such a thing as a giant neocolor I would be absolutely in heaven I think. I loved watching this video so much. Thank you for sharing. : )

What about a stabilo woody? They are chunky and go on kind of like a neocolor but are encased like a pencil.

Thank you so much, I am glad you enjoyed it :) you can use baking paper (that one that we use for the oven) once the painting is dried :) that is what I do. That works very well!
