My husband & I bought pre-owned `flashy red` 2019 Prowler Pro a few months ago and we love it. It's a 3-seater bench seat and we "safety sandwich" our Special Needs son between 2 adults. Many times, we drive with 1 hand (many thanks to its factory Power Steering) and our other hand in our Special Needs son's hands. A few minor updates: It's factory up/down winch button is in center dash area - easily within reach of the middle rider (our Special Needs son's fingers). My husband disconnected its factory power winch switch and replaced with a wireless remote control. Now, the winch can be used inside the cab and also outside the cab. Remote control unit is stored inside the glove box - out of reach from all fingers. Wish the center rider had a factory dash area T-Bar or steel rod handle to grab. Side door position adults have a grab bar on its steel roll cage pillars but NO center dash area grab bar for the center rider. Yes. There's a center roof factory gab bar but its in a very uncomfortable position. And when using, it blocks rear view mirror usage. Not too sure if we would use its factory rear box for dirt/gravel hauling but its great for tools and light weight materials. For gravel/dirt hauling, we attached a simple 4x6 utility trailer (which is much lower to the ground - which is easier to load and unload). Yes. We love its super quiet engine. At times, we do a "double take" on its extreme low idling sounds. While driving normal ground speeds we can even normally talk and hear each other with ease.. Overall, its a great UTV - especially for our remote country roads, country corn / cattle fields and for mild trail riding. I recommend to others - if one needs a "utility" tool like this....

Does this have oil injection or do you have to mix the gas?

Do you still have to mix the gas on the newer two strokes or does that have an oil injection?

How much would one expect to pay for a good condition 2014 Triton PR187 currently? I'm considering buying one in a couple days.

Not sure how much space that you would have in a bush plane, but would recommend the BLAST LT, or if you will be in mostly deep powder BLAST M.

Absolute GARBAGE!!! We bought two for Christmas one never ran right from day one. Took over month for Arctic Cat to figure out the problem. Finally got it fixed, went out on our first real ride with both of them and the second one's starter locked in engaged. Good luck trying to disengage it on the trail. So as of February 5th have two overpriced lawn ornaments. Thanks Arctic Cat/Textron/Clown show.

I have one of these and arctic cat ran out the clock on the warranty along with the dealer. First Textron told me they didn't have people in place to deal with my issues and to address it with deal which I already did. The dealer said they had to contact Textron and never got back to me. I called Textron again and they said they would contact dealer. Never heard back. This machine was delivered with problems and now shifts with extreme difficulty and I have treated this machine like a baby. I have 17 hours on it and wished I had purchased the @t I have to see if I can fix the shift linkage if it is in fact repairable. Should have been covered under warranty.

So far, we have not had any problems with any of the Prowler Pro's that we have sold. We recommend to take it to an Arctic Cat dealer and leave it with them to see what is going on, whether or not it is the original selling dealer is up to you. If you live in southern Ontario Canada, you are welcome to bring it to us and we will try to resolve your problems. See www.bandktire.com for contact info.

These will replace tundra 2 for fishermen, trappers and anyone who goes out alone and like having the confidence to lift yourself out from trouble. Love it, Yamaha has a 400cc too, bombardier needs to get on board. Arctic cat needs to bring back a short track 17" wide tracks.

I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed with this sled. It's basically a full-sized machine with slightly smaller plastics and doesn't really have anything more to offer the consumer who is looking for a true youth sled in a decent power to weight chassis. I was hopeful that the Blast would finally be that sled, especially when I read Cat had developed a fuel injected 400cc motor making 65 hp, as IMO, this is just about the perfect motor for a mid-sized machine. But the Blast is not much different from the EVO in that most of its components are just borrowed parts from larger production models. At least the EVO has a larger displacement motor with the ability to up the performance by changing the ECU. Not that the CAT motor isn't any good. I think it has the potential to be a great motor in the right sized machine, and I would even be willing to buy the engine and its fuel pump sans the sled if it were possible to do so. The CAT motor would be great in something the size of the old Yamaha Snosport. A smaller sled with this motor would sell like hot cakes in my opinion. But in the Blast chassis I'm just not interested. It's hard to justify the cost of the Blast when the same money could buy a holdover sled with more power and better suspension. As-is, the Blast is nothing more than an under-powered no-frills machine with an out the door price tag of just over $9 grand (U.S.) / $11 grand (Canadian). To me, the Blast misses the mark because it isn't the smaller sized sled it should be.

actionsportster yup agree we need a 3/4 size sled for $5000. for the young people. The manufacturers disappoint me every year.

What happened to the seat ?

This unit had been to several events and dealers for demo / display before it got to us. Looked to us that a heat source (example: generator exhaust, space heater, etc.) was too close and pointed toward the seat.
