Starters when healthy: Paul, Devin, Barnes, Sochan, Wemby. Enders when healthy: switch Barnes for Julian or Keldon depending on the night. (They’ve also toggled Paul on and off with Castle during close games depending on who’s on offense)

DJ and Steph exchanged jerseys after the game. DJ actually texted Castle after he got drafted and they’ve been talking. I think DJ kind of onboarded Castle to the NBA like he used to do with Spurs roookies when he was on the team. Pretty cool.

I was annoyed at Collins for getting ejected knowing Wemby was out. Sochans great but he’s not really a center, defensively, so Bassey having to hold down the fort by himself wasn’t ideal.

I absolutely love your vibe, if I may offer some constructive criticism I'd advise you to improve your KZbin thumbnails and do an episode at the end of each match. I think more regularity in the content will make you take SABCH to the next level. But please make an effort for the KZbin thumbnails. Keep up the good work💪🏼👽🖤

Thanks for that feedback! We've still been trying to figure out our thumbnail game so if you have any suggestions, we are all ears! As far as doing episodes after games, we have day jobs at the moment so once a week is what we're committed to. It’s wild that we received draft capital for our current starter. Harrison Barnes remind me of a distraction unit in Warhammer 40k. He’s deadly enough that you kind of have to take him seriously, but if you do it open things up for the more serious threat (Wemby). Kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenario, as we saw with GS.

The most Hipster Austin Spurs thing i like to say is I saw Derrick White and Alex Caruso BATTLE!! Both were #1 options but they were doing EVERYTHING on the court. It was the most beautiful all around basketball I've seen live and in person. I'm loving the episodes. They keep getting smoother and smoother. Everyone is getting a pretty balanced amount of time to get their takes off on each topic. Also Tom is 100 percent correct about the Pop news at the top, well said. This week might get brutal with Wemby being out vs the thunder. Hopefully its the only one. I'm ready for a week of Spurs Basketball and another Silver and Black Coffee Hour. Cheers dudes!

Castle doesn't play like a rookie, he's a lot stronger than we thought. Paul needs to stay to help the team mature more quickly. What's missing is Sochan under the basket, to get the ball on one side, while Victor gets it on the other and in front. Vassel recovered his skill, but not enough physicality. When that happens, the Spurs will be very difficult to beat at home and will become competitive for 40 wins or the play-in. The basis of the team must be Victor, Castle, Sochan, Vassel, Paul, and the others in rotation, especially when the score is assured. The teams are much closer this year overall, with very small gaps. As you can see, the Spurs are tied 10th in the West and 5th in the East. All in all, only the Thunder are slightly better.
