They both look as cast pistons. Forged pistons can only have convex shape inside where the stamp goes in and comes out. But they both have radial bridges what you will never find on a forged piston.

Forged metal is then milled to the shape... They don't necessarily stamp it into shape because they look for the atoms of the metal to go into a certain direction to provide the most strength in the direction it will be most stressed.
