You know that girlfriend of Jesse's she is so annoying, bitchy and rude. if it's not her way or her opinion, everyone else is wrong. Jesse needed someone nicer.

The prevailing opinion is that the Scallies have disappeared, probably following the austerity measures of 2007-2008 and culminating in 2012, marking respectively the inception of the incremental erosion of society - and its eventual death; contrast this with the piecemeal deconstruction of culture, in '93 and its end, following the false flag of 2001 and the resultant Patriot Act. The Scallies (Chavs) didn't disappear. The establishment rebranded the working class with yet another discriminatory and pejorative appellation, around 2016, as "Gammon" and "far-right." The "powers that be" have always leveraged unworthy character traits, such as pride, to bolster and steer their overarching agendas: the more malleable of the distracted multitude, motivated by an intrinsic sense of inadequacy, induced by the system; a desire for upward social mobility, enabled through the deluded conceit that the assumption of a particular political ideology and/or the attainment of an illusory educational standard (indoctrination), may allow them to transcend the boundaries of their inherent class backgrounds. There is nothing more treacherous and unscrupulous than this impulse, the motivation to attempt to sell your own people out, for the transparently inauthentic and eminently failed attempts to socially elevate. Looking back to the Rockers and Mods of the '60's, these largely engineered subcultures reflected a false dialectic that pitted the working class Rockers against the middle class and aspirational (treacherous) working class, Mods. Moving into the post-'93 era, the script was flipped and music based subcultures that originated from the direct lineal successors of Rock music, were marketed to appeal to the would-be middle class and vice versa in regard to the less traditional and more modernistic forms. From around '91, in concert with the engineered decline in popularity of Heavy Metal, a predominantly working class and largely organic endeavour-- we saw the emergence of the multifaceted manifestations of the Indie-alternative scene: Grunge (remanufactured Punk - which itself was manufactured from its inception); Goth; and other divers and derivative forms, too many and too numerous to list-- often moving toward vapid and mechanical, electronic genres of increasingly inhuman regularity and a degenerative "edgelord" aesthetic, augmented by their particular drug of choice; instantiating a full spectrum dominance of culture creation, across the class divides. Of course, the more inauthentic and inorganic the origin of the musical genre, the more steeped in radical politics it was, which takes this article full circle and back to its beginning - the 360° cycle of all revolutions that come from above.
