This best game of football I've ever seen from a England team...considering the heat the 3rd game in a row with extra time and more importantly the opposition...that German team was outstanding...the best German team I've ever seen...so close...Argentina in the final would have been no problem for England...this was England's final

Back in about 2010 I uploaded the Australian version of this announcement - at least one of them - to my channel. I'm rebuilding the channel now, and have realised that I no longer have the original footage. :( It was Australia's Channel 9 News. The interesting thing is - I am sure that the visual footage was identical, and the Aussie news just dubbed their own reporter on top. Hopefully I'll find it again...

I wonder if Frontiers was ever shown because 10.15pm would have been slap bang in the middle of extra time in the England v West Germany semi final at Italia 90. Which was covered live on both BBC1 and ITV.
