Another similar genre of KZbin videos are scantily clad "survival" and "crafting" channels, which seem to have popped up recently and somehow found their way into my recommended feed.

To be honest, I think ONE NOTE bass lines/sequences are sufficient, best, and unbeatable. Syncopate them up and juggle up the time signatures if you like, but just do it with one note. You don't even have to be in the key everyone else is playing in. In fact, being as far out of the key as possible, maybe a tritone, makes the sound more interesting/stimulating. Victor Wootton, for example, is doing no more than playing the bass in the manner of an ordinary six string guitar, which is not what the bass is for. And I don't mean the root of any arpeggio. I mean just ONE NOTE and stick to it. 😮

Line 6 spider was my first bass amp, too. A friend gave it to me, and It was in pretty rough shape. I was able to fix it up a bit and give it to another friend who had just started learning bass.

No one ever seems to comment on these distinctly English references, even though Danny slips them into loads of his videos. RIP Fred. Decent bloke.

ST has had very talented musicians from all types of musical backgrounds. That's the most "crossover" part of them: Who they're willing to accept.

Best argument I heard in favour of a 5-string is if you're a session player who often plays with horn-sections and so having Eb on tap is helpful. I like them because I play a lot of loud, heavy, blues-inspired music in E, and hitting a low V for emphasis just as the the music peaks is cool too

Could that last behs player be a ’stature typical' woman, but with cankles and an unusually large bonce?
