How old is this saber and tutorial? That was an old SNV4 chassis in this hilt. From what I was told by TXQ, the whole structure of this saber has changed since May 2024.

The main change was to the core structure, with little change to the handle.

I slid the C shaped button holder around so it was on the same side as the retention screw for the chassis. It hides it a bit that way.

Hi, During the last week I unfortunately had a small accident with my lightsaber where I accidentally fumbled the saber out of my hands, whilst trying to grip a camcorder / video recorder properly via the strap. The saber dropped onto the kitchen floor. The area it dropped onto wasn’t carpet (which would’ve cushioned the blow) and it wasn’t tiled flooring but a “coated” flooring (that is like carpet but more laminated and without the protective fluff that comes from a carpet). Anyhow.. The saber still works and generates sound though the speaker but I do have an issue with the sound now, where it sounds really low / hollow and obviously I want to fix it / have it fixed. I’ve reached out to SabersPro, where I got the saber from last June but they can’t really help or do anything as it’s now out of the 1-year warranty. Is there anything I can do about this? I was actually looking into purchasing a better speaker for the saber at some point so I can safely increase the base volume, without blowing the speaker or it being distorted and crackly. But obviously I want to fix the current issue I’m having with it right now. Thanks.

Thank you! Been trying to figure out how to get this battery out. Horrible design to have to unscrew the entire thing to get to the battery and usb. I wish that battery cover plate was magnetic or had a hinge.

Are there screws inside the handle section where the electronics core is placed in and how do you take it out?

After removing the head screws, the core can be taken out directly.

You can use a 1.5 hex key to secure the L-shaped guard.

Hold it from the gold end and give it a little smack on your palm on the battery side. The battery will pop right out.
