To remove just the DVD drive, it's just two screws? 8 GB is the max RAM the laptop can support? Found a tossed out HP laptop similar to yours. System works, has Win 10, Celeron 😴1.1... but the DVD drive doesn't want to open!

If you losen all those bolts while its still mounted. Then when you have to use a braker bar or air gun it will be much easier. Then with the bumper off and on the ground you can go ahead and disassemble using your ratchet or finish with the air gun or air ratchet when hanging the new bumper keep all the bolts slightly loose then adjust and a line the new bumper as needed and tighten nuts and bolts as required helps keep the lines nice and strate

More ram doesn't make it "twice as fast".. It simply gives you more space to run more things at once. The best analogy I use to explain this to people is a library: The book shelves are your HDD or SSD memory. They hold all your files, programs and apps, etc... Your RAM is like a table or desk. You can start pulling books off of the shelf, but you can only lay so many of them on the desk at once. When you upgrade your RAM-- you are simply adding a bigger table to work on, so you can have more "books laying out at once while you work.... So when you're doing so many things that your RAM is full, it will just flat out stop working and be super glitchy. So this extra ram just takes you from: not working at all- back to normal, just with more things happening at once.

Anyone complaining it’s slow. I’d upgrade to an ssd before I upgrade the ram because the ssd would make it faster than only ram.

I have an hp 15-bs234wm, i did upgraded the ram from 4gb to 8gb but whem trying to turn it on it doesn't boot, the screen stays black and the caps lock button is blinking, any info on what could it be?? Dude that's the longest I've ever seen it take to size a ring, and all the hand motion tools usage. After seeing that it would drastically slow me down your killing yourself by wasting all that time. just learn to fuse weld with your torch . My 03 excursion 6.0L has really bad turbo lag. It has a stage 3 sinister diesel turbo, but stock injectors (for now) . Will this help with turbo lag much?
