Agreed, and he’s only been making pianos for 30 years. I don’t think that entitles him to look down his nose at certain piano reviewers.

Wayne Stuart, the company founder, is a giant asswipe. A KZbinr whose familiar with and has played in many high-end and expensive pianos, James, asked to play one of his pianos via email, and the email from Wayne Stuart was vicious and completely disgusting. I personally have no love for this piano company and especially the pompous imbecile that heads it after reading the email. Wasn't the best use of time, that lengthy video riposte from James - the assertions about tuning top end strings made no sense... (Probably 1000 x more words than Wayne's email. Lol.

@@Freewheal Maybe so, but I expect he was trying to find a plausible explanation for Stuart not wanting his pianos reviewed. Yes, he laid it all out in a 10 minute video, but that beats leaving it all bottled up inside, and so I say good for him.

@@johnpeer8260 Videos of 102 key instruments show there is no problem with high end tuning. Another producer is Stephan Paulellello's - Opus 102: same agraffe technology and large instrument (light soundboard) - but in his case barless / ribless. A philosophy Broadwood were famed for 120 years ago.

I had designed and built some pianos in Canada 40 years ago....to achieve what Stuart and Sons has achieved is truly amazing....next step may be a Bluthner aliquot scale..hmmm.
