Why this particular video though? There are many memorable tracks (both musically and race type) but its this one that tugs the heart strings on most, maybe its because this is the end credits, the part of the game that showed you had beaten it, and all you could do (as a little or grown kid i presume) is watch and let it sink in.

A perfect ending theme to what has been a wild four years. I graduate from university in 11 days and now I’m finally going to complete a journey where I was doubted and brought down so many times but in the end, I stood up strong.

I didn't grow up this game in the same way so many here seem to have. But I did play it in mid-2010's on my wii U. It's ending credit song is unlike anything I've heard, and is perhaps one of the few to make me nostalgic for days I never grew up and will never grow up in again.

When I was a child about 10 years old I studied in a school of rich kids and I was the one who had no money and suffered a lot of bullying for 6 years for not being like them among many things teasing, rejection, contempt by teachers, etc. not having friends I took refuge in my nintendo 64 and played for many hours this game and was my only companion in my childhood... Simply thank you nintendo for giving me an escape from that stage and to be able to have at least a happy memory.

Mario Kart 64 will always hold a special place in my childhood. It was the first videogame I remember ever playing. Would play it often with my dad. I'd be Toad and he'd usually be Wario but sometimes Yoshi. The Star Cup was brutal to us. For the longest time neither of us could quite get the gold trophy in it. We'd even go as far as teaming up, protecting each other from the other racers. But still, we couldn't do it. But then finally, when I was 11 I think, I beat the Star Cup. My placings were 1st, 2nd, 2nd, and 3rd in the races with a score of 24 points. So I only barely squeezed out the win, but still got it, and by myself at that. The sheer awe and pride I felt watching these credits roll is a feeling I won't easily forget, even now as I'm 20. The Star Cup was the first real hurdle in a videogame for me, the first real mountain that I managed to climb.

It's painfully sad to have Kevin Afghani taking over as the current voice of the Mario Bros. whilst Charles Martinet already retired.

A cousin of mine and I were like brothers when we were little boys and he and I used to play Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64, but he got into a drug problem when he got older, and he was even looking forward to seeing The Super Mario Bros Movie with me but March 2023 (One month before the movie came out) he passed away from all the drugs he did over the years. :( R.I.P bro. Even though you and I were cousins, you were a great brother and despite doing drugs, you had a wonderful heart.

How to make someone Nostalgic for an Era they weren't a part of...

Even though the Wii, 3DS, and Wii U era are really nostalgic for me, im honestly a little upset i didnt grow up during the N64 and GameCube era. This era of Nintendo feels so less strict with the creativity, especially during the gamecube era. Freaking Mario went to jail in Sunshine, Sunshine only used a beach theme, Zelda Wind Waker used totally different graphics, Double Dash had two characters, Paper Mario TTYD was new, and more. Nintendo might be slowly returning to this, considering Odessy, Bowsers Fury, and Wonder exist, but idk. This era of nintendo is just so fascinating for me

Me and my mother used to complete the game just to watch this when i was a kid. Then a few years back when i was 25 we went to an old games convention type thing. Instantly sniffed out the N64 and we did it all again 🥲

The best credits sequence in the ENTIRE Mario Kart series even to this very day. I didn’t grow up playing MK64 (my first Mario Kart game was actually DS) and I didn’t even play the game for the first time until this year a couple of months ago and oh my god this hit me like a freak train even still. This is everything a Mario Kart credits sequence should be and I absolutely adore it. Thank you Nintendo.

Good things: Finally we're going to get new voice clips instead hearing the same reused clips from 15 years ago Bad things: The new actor it's just a Italian Mickey Mouse and he support mental illness people.
