They move around just under the surface of the sand in the shallow, warm water, and leave little trails behind as you can see. They're hard to distinguish from periwinkle trails, but their longer, with fewer turns, and they move faster, pushing the sand up as they go. This was mid-late summer, and I assume this one was just hatched from a month or two earlier.
