The natural lightning of your new studio is fantastic ! I also love your storage organisation; can I ask where did u bought the storage bin with the transparent windows ?
@unefelt8 күн бұрын
I love the sunlight streaming into my studio, it creates an amazing vibes. The storage bin is from a local Taiwanese brand named Shuter.

Wow cool. Do you think is there anything for the army or camping survival skills that could possibly be done felting?
@unefeltАй бұрын
If we can make bags, shoes, and clothes from wool, I think we can also make stuff for camping or military packs. Have you heard of a yurt? The traditional felt cover is made from wool too. :)

Hi, i just started to felt. I wonder which wool is good for base first? because i find merino wool for base is too soft
@unefelt2 ай бұрын
Normally I use merino from beginning to end to the end, don’t use any other wool or thing for base. If merino is too soft to you, another option is choosing fiber diameters above 27. For example, Romney, Corridale,etc. :)

In this time, I wet felted all at the same time. Maybe wet felt the arms first will be easier.

What kind of fibers do you use? Is it merino or other breed? And where do you buy them? I loooove the bright colors you use and the smooth outcome ❤❤❤
@unefelt2 ай бұрын
Thank you 🥰🧡 In this video, I use merino wool, less than 23 microns. Here is the one that I like to use in general. www.dhgshop.it/item-fibers-of-animal-origin-carded-extra-fine-merino-wool-_7_0_1_88_447.php Yolk color is a bit saturate than the one I used. But some of the work I use this yolk color and also CYCLAMEN color is one of my favorite color.
AwesOMe !! This is the 1st time I’ve seen felt made with yarn & bubble wrap!! 👍👏👏👏

This video is about how to attach new wool not how to finish smoothly.
@unefelt7 ай бұрын
In my point of view it is part of it, because we have to add more and more wool and layers on it. In general, we add same color and shape it. And this is part II of techniques, how I make smooth surface that didn’t share in part I. However, those are the details I care a lot and you can see this technique all the time in my videos. But it is hard if using same color to demonstrate it.🥲 I think the more details you care, you will get a delicate work. :)
@sasariwtf11 күн бұрын
Well yes but actually no. It's about how to get a smooth finish. And she does so by attaching new wool.

What is the water to soap ratio?
@unefelt9 ай бұрын
It depends on what kind of detergent/soap. I always will prepare two bottles, soapy water and water, because in the whole process, sometimes you will need some water instead of soapy water. You can see how I use it in this video or other videos as well. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGe0hqqDn5asrpo

Hello! Will this craft paper melt and only the pattern remain? It's so strange and wonderful! Where can I get it?
@unefelt10 ай бұрын
It is like wool fibers merge with paper, but truth is it is fragile in the beginning when you felt it, after that it is strong as normal felting items.
