a mio avviso questo brano non ha niente a che vedere con lo SPLENDIDO improvviso in Do# minore di CHOPIN ! Non ci sono similitudini nella struttura, nell'armonia, non è presente la poliritmia . Non c'è assolutamente nulla di somigliante . ( mio modesto pensiero)

I can't believe there are no comments here!!! This is such glorious and programmatic music...not to mention extremely tricky to decipher, interpret and play! I am working on it as well - although I'm only 1 page in and at the beginning of the process. Great job!!! It's too bad that even in 2021, this composer and his music (which predates Scriabin) is still sorely neglected and rarely performed! What a genius he was....and WAY ahead of his time!!!!

I like both Decaux's music and Scriabin's music. Their sound is unique and very comfortable. I hope it will become more famous!

He's neglected because he only published ONE suite, this one (along with the rest of the suite). Unlike someone like Scriabin who wrote similar music to this but in larger quantities so its easier to discover him.
