Roads are covered in shit here in Leicester! Apparently the council has a type of road sweeper that pressure washes all the grime and muck off to try and make them less slippy. Cheers Rob

Yeh! I hit a patch of icy road surface on Jackson Heights this after ontway back from Youles. Me Tigers icy conditions warning came on (at 3.5 degrees) but only for a mile or so cos in Edgeworth it were up to 6 degrees. Just goes to show, you need to watch out when on the tops!

....oops - sorry I missed this video ....yes, it's tricky to repair plastic with any kind of glue - especially something that's under a lot of tension . If you have two helmets then I'd just use the blue camera in fine weather with the mic plugged in all the time and with elastic bands holding the door closed.

...oops - yes there's a lot of tension on that waterproof seal , you have to be very gentle with it when opening and closing.

Not heard of that fix before good result.

Hey guys, i have the same issue. I have just changed the battery and it has fixed the issue. The low voltage circuit on the battery seems to die. I bought a replacement on Alibaba for $12 delivered. Took about 20 minutes to change out.

Shame about the camera Tony, not had it that long either. Must have been a manufacturing fault.

From recollection the battery's a real pain to access. Taking the power off it may allow it to fire up again.

...I'm glad the Predator Cam is performing well ! Yes - cagers just HAVE to overtake for some weird reason , just to get stuck in traffic again a bit further on , or at a red light . One got close to me this afternoon on the way to Rivington and I felt the blast of air as he rushed by me....WHY ?! ....I had no idea there was a road to Whitewell from Sawley ! I used to go to Settle via Sawley just for a change sometimes - but that was years ago. The road looked a bit narrow and dodgy in places though....! That socket is in a good spot , I wish mine were more accessible in case I ever go camping again...

Thanks Tony, you've just convinced me not to buy these boots. There are two issues with them that I can see: Velcro wears out. It should only be used as a secondary fastener IMO. Secondly, I've seen reviews of these boots as sold by GhostBikes with this same issue of the soles separating from the upper. That's most likely nothing to do with the way you're using them. It's everything to do with the quality of the manufacture. Read the Sale of Goods Act. It clearly states that a product should be fit for purpose and free from manufacturing defects. You should ALWAYS return EVERY product that fails in any way within a reasonable timescale. But in this case, the important question to ask is: Should the sole of a motorcycle boot (or any footwear) ever separate from the upper, and if so, under what circumstances? In the absence of any evidence of abuse, your rights to a replacement or refund (in certain cases) is guaranteed. Also they may well try to tell you that your guarantee is limited in some way. Remember that the terms and conditions have no bearing on the law. You might however have difficulty trying to get a replacement now you've affected these repairs. Plus, you're admitting to possibly causing the issue...!

Just down road from you Tony same around us I am in Padiham stretches of road all around us terrible. Some depths of potholes if you hit them in the dark your off your bike guaranteed. What I want to know is this where the hell is the road tax going? I thought the idea of road tax was for the up keep of the roads. Wonder what would happen if everyone in the country stopped paying road tax until some fat cat got of their fat arse and did something about it. Not to mention all the Dick Turpins (speed cameras) that have sprung up and are mobile around the country and the revenue they bring in. Steve
