as much as i love bcp i hate the "whoos" at non-whoo worthy moments LOL. as fans we are entitled to hype whatever we want but i guess the passing of ruffs around the snareline doesn't quite whoo me. cool snare feature tho that certainly changed the activity.

Some cool inclusions but mostly sloppy and irritating overall. When you complicate something just to make it complicated, you lose the element of musicality and professionalism. And from the comments, it sounds like he’s flying on the winds of being overrated within a social cocoon. I would suspect just a matter of time before the rude awakening

Imagine getting contracted for vibes to have the opening feature played by the marimbas, the following feature played by the bass drums, the solo played by a snare drum, and most of your time is spent pushing your board around the floor and playing about a minute's worth of music total.
@MikhailFederov10 ай бұрын
I don't get this solo. Why does it seem like the time signature is in 13/4, then 7/16, jumping to 47/32 in some spots? It sounds like someone on drumset trying to play a groove when they don't have any experience

We NEED a weighted crowd score. I have been advocating for that for a long time. 😮 I love all of DCI, Blue Devils, Madison Scouts, Cavaliers, Crown are among my favs I just want to see more diversity in the top. I even like the idea of considering the average score for the Prelims round with the Finals Round.
@simplyphi14411 ай бұрын
I placed them first in general effect on my score card this every year. That was powerful, technical, exciting, interesting visually and musically, andvery classy. The top half of finals is always occupied by really good drum corps shows. But usually, Carolina Crown has a cut above show and that uniquely electrifying hornline sound. Every year they exemplify what has attracted me to Drum Corps since High School, excellence. And to me, that brass line trophy says it all. Crown is Tops!
