@@makergaming2022 I wish. I just started watching Avatar with my 7 year old daughter. She's loving it. I meant that circle to the North of your starter base that use to be a cave that you put red, yellow, and orange signs inside so it looks like fire is coming from it. Although, I do remember when the Avatar gang was hiding out in the Fire Nation and held that dance in the cave. So maybe dancing and merriment happens in the fire cave.

Sweet! I never thought of viewing it that way. Honestly, the thing is so huge, I usually simply plop it in the grasslands and drive around it. But I've always wanted to make a nice plaza, with the elevator at one end and my tower / hub house at the other. Trying to include one of the geysers in the center.

Me neither! That was an insight from Xtrafresh that he showed us last year. I’ve never worked with geysers! This is the playthrough to try it ALL though! Make that plaza! Progress can wait. No progress beats driving up to a cool elevator base. In my opinion anyways. lol.

I don’t think that’s true. What’s the problem? Maybe I can help. My initial guess is that you are using the sliders but the sliders lock at 1, you have to select the number box by clicking on it and type in what you want.

@ I’ll look again tonight but it worked for me as late as last night. The only other thing I can think of without being at the game, are you pressing enter after typing the number? To lock it in.

Are you trying it on concrete walls? The walls don’t take the vibrant color for some reason. Only the pillars and foundations.

I came across a spot on the southern coast you can get into very easily. Had it pinned but I messed around with some mods and lost the save. I started a new vanilla save with a couple hours of time on it though. I will absolutely be finding the hole again because as soon as I realized seemingly access the entire underside of the map all I could think was, I'ma make the ultimate logistics floor here. Near tested if it's possible to clip pipes and belts through to the top though so it might be a bust.

All the signs!! Drives me crazy when I place signs and they are upside down or sideways with no indication. Maybe they need to add a registration arrow to sign placement. Or even a registration symbol on the sign during placement.

Either beam. I like the painted beam. Press R while in build mode to shift between default/diagonal/freeform. Press R for lots of buildables for different options (ex. R for straight mode for belts).

Yaay, I began playing 1.0 during Ficsmas, but was too busy doing factory to make decorations and ficsmas tree, and then presents airdrops stopped. But now I can just dupe the presents and make the tree, since I done tier 9 and pretty happy with my factory.

I have a lot of problems with long fluid manifolds. Looping the end of the manifold back to the start seems to help for some reason, pipes are a pain in the ass though. Thanks for posting :)

Thanks for the comment. Presented an easy fix. I had 600 looped but the 300 was single trip. Added a loop at the end. Hopefully that fixes it.

edit: That's a great tip! Solves a problem we all deal with. I wish CSS would allow free placement mode. Why not cycle through attachment modes just like other build modes? mode 1: free placement mode 2: snap to nearby appropriate thing mode 3: snap to nearby foundation grid mode 4: snap to global grid

You don’t even have to disassemble the carts. Just press pick up factory cart after you’ve added an item to the inventory. Doubles it when picked up.
