Great version but no way it's 1955. Not the sound. It is 1969 According to Martin Hawkins sun expert liner notes of Rockabillys main man album.

Thank you for posting this. The Kentucky Headhunters have a great version of this song, as well. Different time period, but, great song nonetheless.

Always loved this tune. Jerry Lee, Roland Janes and 'Jimmy' Van Eaton were an awesome trio. Always thought J.V. is the best drummer ever to bash those bongos.

Can someone tell me why they made the stand up slapping bass, rythmn guitar and drums sound like a full band. That is pure rockabilly no excuses, the lead guitar in a band is the free spirit as long as he holds the lines of the backbeat behind him, as a bass player I would always listen to the drums. Just A Thought

So many takes, all with different lyrics, all with different guitar breaks. This is real rockabilly: simple, joyful, humorous, danceable. He was great.

Thanks for putting these playlists together. Enjoying the Floyd Murphy playlist today. His brother Matt Murphy's session sides would be a great list to have. I can't imagine how many sides that might be. Just in the 50's and 60's. Thanks!
