My 97 vmax 600 goes well over 100, with a little clutching and gearing changes. Still pulls out of the hole like a bandit!.

We had mud racing in Oz a few years back, but around a circuit, not a straight line. North Americans seem to have an aversion for going around corners.

The 780cc Hauck improver kit on that Ferron SRX definitely helped it against our 700 Prostock triple!

I just picked up a 97 670 at a benefit auction for $200. Didn’t know if it would even start. I cleaned it up and gave her new plugs and some fresh gogo juice. Third pull it’s running like a skunked monkey!!!

I wonder what the distance was. In a "free distance" run, my 97 yamaha sx 600 with a headgasket and dupont slides will get 91 mph on my phone gps.

I used rail extensions that I had purchased through Royal Distributing and aren't sold anymore, but I'm sure the ones' from Tracks USA are very good. I made my own tunnel extension but I'd recommend just buying one from tracks USA. Good luck on the project ! Steph

Very impressive setup…did you use rail extensions or a full 136 suspension? Is the tunnel extension from Tracks USA? I am asking because I am currently redoing my 700 Trip. and want to do the same to mine. Thanks for your replays limskii !!
@limskii
@limskii 11 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's a 136X15 track. The sled is quite a bit different now though, as it's a prostock 700 with different rear suspension, alot of lightweight parts, different porting, compression and custom Jaws pipes as compared to improved stock form in this video with crankshop pipes.
