Fala :-) To je bilo 15.7.2016. i bilo je zajebano smrzavanje jer nisam imao jedriličarsko odijelo, a stalno je zalivalo more dok je pičilo 40 čvorova bure priko mene. U jednom momentu je izgorio pilot pa se više nisam mogao maknuti s kormila. Kako sam vozio samo na mali komadić floka, na manje od 2 metra kvadratna jedra, tako me je bura otpuhivala od Šolte i bila mi je frka hoću li se dovoljno primaknuti Šolti da me sakrije od valova da konačno mogu upaliti pentu i zavoziti u željenom smjeru. Pente su tvornički previsoko montirane i malo pomaknute u jednu stranu tako da je kod jačeg naginjanja bila beskorisna jer je propelom vukla zrak, a ne more. Plovidba tih 15 NM od Hvara do Šolte je trajala 5 sati. Prespava sam u Šešuli pa ujutro po jakoj tramuntani (NW) u Split. Prve dvi stvari koje sam učinio je da sam otišao u dućan kupit odijelo i maksimalno spustio nosač motora

Thank you. I made this sunshield in the local workshop 7 years ago. I had several micro boats with similar shades, mostly wider, but I made this model a bit narrower in order to be able to make it stiff (using ropes) and sail in stronger winds with sunshield on

Engine type and power depends on your needs. Will you sail long passages or in strong current/winds/waves or just out of marina and back?

Thanks, i am looking at a 2010 model with no motor, what size would you recommend? And how fast does it cruise on engine power please. And thanks

@@markalfresco 5.5 knots with 5HP engine. Engine choice depends on how you will use your boat (for long passages or in strong current or waves)

Thank you for the comment, you made a good point. I didn't think about that before. Luckily, that compartment is open from several sides. Bench (compartment hatch) doesn't fit hermetically and front side (a compartment wall towards the cockpit) lays on two hinges based on the cockpit floor so compartment is well ventilated and there is no possibility to collect any type of liquid inside (all goes under the front wall to the cockpit)

I forgot to mention that this connector is 12V DC, 4A, power supply for autopilot. It is not 220V connector

@@didudiydidudu I made it 130-140 km/h with lots of straight road. it can easily reach 120 km/h but later it takes too much time to gain speed. I removed glass shield because it is soft and at 105-110 km/h makes your wheel unstable

Good eye for details, Lucas! I think I used engine that time since engine was in the sea and due to speed (6.2 knots using only part of jib upwind is not possible without engine). I'm quite sure that I didn't use main sail because I was shorthanded and didn't have "single line reffing" system at that moment. Probably reffing would work cause of too much wind and too few crew weight 😀 Engine was/is Tohatsu 5HP, 4 stroke, long shaft

Tek sad vidim poruku. Hela i ja smo bili nekoliko dana u Rimu pa smo iznajmili skuter. Gušta sam vozit jer nema traka i jedino ograničenje koje moraš poštivat je da ne smiš vozit sporo 😆 Za 24 sata smo prešli 150km

I'm sorry Gerard, this wasn't mine scooter, I just put it into an add for my neighbour, so I don't have battery info. Batteries are usually placed under the seat or under the floor and are easily accessible. Take a screw driver and check one by one :-)

I just saw your comment, sorry, Roland. Second reef probably wouldn't help because I was alone. By my experience in 30 knots you need at least crew of 3 to prevent boat heeling too much in this point of sailing I'll pay attention in the future and make table how many people and which reef are required for different wind speeds

Sorry, guys, I just saw your messages I used small piece of jib, approximately 1 square meter. I was alone on the boat and wind pushed starboard side of hull so strong that boat was heeling without sails. Therefore I couldn't use reefed main sail. After some time autopilot failed and I wasn't able to set reefs even if I intended. New main sail that I'll buy would have 3rd reef for such occasions In this particular situation jib made its job regularly but if I had shore on leeward side (eg if I sailed on the north side of island) only main could save me

dont know if you guys gives a damn but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my gf recently xD
