Love your videos! I'm planning on buying a pontoon soon. Did you make any modifications to yours? Im over by Ponderay! I'm gonna have to buy some Crocs, evidently 😅

Thanks for watching! The only thing I did was add a piece of pipe on the one side with a hose clamp to hold my rod while I troll. Since you're in this area and noticed the crocs, don't forget a blue and white floating rapala to troll with!

started hunting with the deer slayer in the early 80's. traded it in for a rem. 742 carbine in 3006 and never regretted it.
@jonstafford26916 күн бұрын
You must have gotten a good 742. Mine had a 9 lb trigger and shot a 4-5 inch group at 50 yards. Sold it and bought a ruger M77 06 50 years ago. A working mans classic.

I’ve had mine for years. The key to have it cycle properly is to keep it clean. Also check the stock where the cycling bar is it could be rubbing on the stock. I shoot reloads in mine. The reloads are much more accurate than factory.

This is the first time your channel has shown up for me. I like you, you're calm and realistic and above all else you're not a fear monger. I'm not a full fledged prepper, I'm too old and broke but I'm trying. My next project is a purification system for rain water. I do appreciate your no nonsense video, you didn't even try to sell me something I can't afford!!! I'll be watching for you from now on.

Nice video. What if you were camping 1/4 mile from the lake. Is there a way to carry this if you couldn't drive right to it. I'd also have loved to see you get in and out of it. (especially for your "dip" in the water as well.
@halfassoffgrid10365 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! If I were going to carry the boat for a quarter mile, I would probably disassemble it and make an extra trip and bring it in on my pack frame. It's pretty light, but probably a bit wide to just carry. As far as gettng in and out of it on the water, i just slide off the seat and either get on in shallow water or come back up through the middle and get on the seat like im getting into an inner tube.
