What about doors off top off highway driving?
@Bknoffbroncos10 күн бұрын
Hi Matt, I didn’t run the test with the doors and roof off. I recently bought a MagSafe Otter Box that sticks even better, however, I wouldn’t trust any magnet to hold my phone with the doors off. It would be just my luck that I would hit a hard bump and bye-bye phone. Thanks for watching.

I still have the original windshield on my 2007 Hummer H3 it only has 1 star that I fixed a couple of years ago don’t get why Bronco owners would complain I’m surprised how great my windshield has held over the last 17 years . The only protection I’ve ever used is waxing the windshield every few years
@BknoffbroncosАй бұрын
Hi Steven, that’s awesome about having the original windshield on an ‘07. I had the original windshield myself on my ‘08 F-350 that I sold last year with 187k on the clock. I had 2 chips that I filled in. The Bronco windshield angle so so slight compared to most other vehicles, causing more replacement. I have several Jeep friends that have replaced multiple windshields as well. It’s just the nature of the beast. Thanks for watching.

I've heard the sticky tape doesn't stick well.
@Bknoffbroncos2 ай бұрын
I heard that as well on the first generation of these. I had the second generation and they stuck extremely well. Mabett included adhesion promotor pads and a better grade of 2 way tape. I removed this eventually in order to install a different product and had a difficult time. It really stuck! For the bug shields I’ve installed, I bought my own bottle of 3M adhesion promotor to use instead of the adhesion pads included in the accessory packet, and none of those bug shields have had an issue.

Great question Jagman, you will have to disconnect the harness from the taillight. I never thought about it until you asked. I typically remove the 2 rows and leave the clamshell on the truck. I will have to look into making a quick disconnect type connector in an accessible area.

@ryonjones5642 ай бұрын
Well unfortunately, Broaddict was mistaken when they said this would work with my Broaddict rear cargo window molle panels. The plate that holds the bottom window molle panels prevents the side plates from being installed correctly. To make it work, it would have to be removed, but then the window molle panels wouldn’t be supported properly and they’d bang and rattle against this foldable shelf here. Too bad because I really liked this shelf.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m assuming that you’re referring to the step after removing the accessory panel. I turned my back because I was putting the welding screw, which is in the shape of a T. You are sliding that into the horizontal slot in the tailgate and then turning 90° so it catches after it catches you’re gonna put a nut on it and tight to keep it in place.
