Of course a genius spotted a genius group. Their first 3-4 records were masterpieces or close to but the red disco lp came. I saw them also playing that alive (Roskilde). That was the last time after 4 concerts.

I first heard this song in Walter Mitty, and fell in love with it. Then, tonight, two members of Arcade Fire played this in the Christmas Without Tears variety show in New Orleans! We were all on our feet! This song lives!

As good as it is it’s so simple and formulaic compared to Bowie in his prime. Like most newer bands/musicians….superficial. Respect the Bowie.

After seeing Arcade Fire play this in person as a bucket list item at Red Rocks, I now cannot sing this oh oh oh oh oh oh part without tearing up. I am a 74 year old man, and this band, Arcade Fire, touches my heart and my soul like no other band or music has my entire life. When they complete their current album work in a year or so, I will try to see them as often as I can. If you haven't yet, start listening to them, and listen to each song more than once, because they grow on you.

You can tell David Bowie was very moved by the lyrics, he's singing deep from his soul! Together they are some of the best timers. I can say with no doubt that Arcade Fire moved me to tears with their songs, They feel like war and heaven, and they ignited all of my feelings and senses.
