Look kid. The Golden Gate Crew are nothing but a solid bunch of seasoned burners. We are very serious on making sure not to noise pollute when we park to play. Before parking we have walkers and bikers scout the area to make sure we were not interfering with anyone else. In the Golden Gates 13 years on playa I can think of maybe 2 times we accidentally parked and played when we shouldn’t have. And how we knew is someone came up and told us. At which point we were super apologetic and offered to take their whole camp on an art tour the following day. So the only shame and absolute worst finger that should be pointed anyone is at you and anyone else who chose to let themselves have a bad experience because of the Golden Gate. We were not hurting anyone physically. And all It would have taken is coming up to us to let us know we were playing music in a wrong direction. Had we known, we would have been fixed it immediately and rewarded the person for saying something. I learned this from Sadguru ,”only you are the one that chooses to be upset “ But furthermore. Also shame on you for repeating gossip. Clearly you weren’t there and just playing the game of telephone repeating what someone else said because if you were, and had witnessed first hand, then you would have known we have a policy put in place specifically for people who cannot speak up for themselves as there are only 3 time that week that we post in the same location to play music for no long than 4 hours. So moral of the story is if you have a problem, say something and we’ll definitely gladly move. But if you have a problem, don’t say something then it’s your problem not my problem so I’m sorry I can’t help you. The answer is always no until you ask.
