Also have to take into consideration how much the driver can see thru the helmet and restricted movement with the hans device. I guess it would make it more difficult and factor in the speeds of the cars too.

Watching from Australia on Dirtvision the venue looks really rundown and in need of a full fix-up. Was there any thought of holding Super Dirt Week at another track? There is no place with a footprint big enough to hold all the cars and campers that want to attend. Camping is sold out every year. It must have looked worse on TV than in person as we saw everything just fine. Kind of like when it rains, the camera has to look through a couple of hundred feet so it makes it look worse than it is. Its a great event. Hope you can make it someday.

Is there any thoughts about leaving Oswego as a dirt track year round ? Fulton did it. Just wondering.

There is always that chatter at this time of the year. The dirt track routine in Central New York is pretty established now and weekly racing is strong. Weedsport Speedway has assumed the role Rolling Wheels once did and now Oswego is Syracuse. I love it the way it is now. Oswego gets to run the fastest short track cars on the planet until Labor Day and then all us dirt racing folks finish the year. In my mind, it is perfect the way it is now.

Wow...the thought of Dirt racing without Alan or Danny. Awful. I used to crew for Danny. My brother dropped many checkered flags over their hoods on the Dirt circuit. Thanks to both of them for what they've given to dirt modified racing over the last 45 years. Just, wow!
