@8:55, according to the BPR, the Dutch shipping law, the professional skippers (actually all ships longer than 20 meters) always have priority/right of way. The rules for inland shipping are different than at sea.

Just found this video. Thank you! Looks interesting for me, because I start sailing in the Netherlands in a few weeks. Autopilot, enough fenders and some long lines have to be on the boat. Then you have to react quick to the circumstances you see and make clear maneuvers. I think it will take a bit of time until I will do such singlehanded...
