Google docs was made for people of different verticals to write and collaborate and how is buttrdocs different? A lot of what described proposition for butter docs is present in google docs which is free, comes with google reliability and have other google products to seamlessly sync. Plus, nothing's broke in GDocs, it's a great product. Most writers are already broke to but another subscription.
