That is a fabulous looking and sounding t-style guitar. The figuring on the fretboard looks gorgeous! Great demo!

How come no comments in the comment section . Dude i have been woodworking professionally for 20 years and from time to time I thought I would make a guitar at some point but, there is so much more to know than just woodworking. I hope you keep making if life permits. This was a great demo of your work . Love you man and I dont even know you.

This amplifier Nachum built for me, it is such a great amp, using this RCA NOS tubes and the Celestion greenback just take this classic amp to a new level.

Sounds nice clean, but fat 50s sound very bassy/boomy when overdriven, unfortunately. This video just confirms it, as well as my own experience.

Somehow the guitar tone comes across as very muffled and dull. The inspired smile on the player's face reveals that this isn't the case at all, in the room. Limits of the recording gear....?

Are these pickups worth $1500?
@rebbeche4 жыл бұрын
That’s for u to decide if u want to spend this amount on pickups. I didn’t pay that amount I bought them before he stoped making them. They really sound amazing, but u can find great affordable ones like wizz, throwbacks, Stephen design ( amazing pickups one of my favourite but long wait time). Hope that helps.

@@DanNic88 I used to buy and sell a bunch of guitars and have a high end place near me. Gibsons w/ the 57 pus are good, otherwise I always change them out. QC for wood isn't perfect either. You have to look for lp, tele, whatever to make sure they are tonally good by playing them without an amp. Usually the thicker the neck the better the tone but you cannot take dead wood and make it ring. Anderson, Suhr, LSL, PRS are better w/ QC but some guitars still stand out. Those and other guitarmakers are wonderful in their own right but if you want a gibson lp then nothing else will do unless it is an old gibson lp or a gil Yaron lp. Great yes. Some are. Exquisite. Few are. Put some sheptones, wolftones, klopmans or ron ellis's into a good one with some 50's wiring and you are set. I agree with your sentiment but I personally have reconciled myself with this fact. (I would be happy buying them without any electronics at all.) Then again some are crap; just dead wood.

well it looks like he has a green cord going into the amp and a black cord into the guitar so he must have something in-between, Who knows? i hate when we can't get answers.

sGreat demo I also put the same Virgil arlo 59 humbuckers in my Custom shop Gibson Les Paul R9 reissue which already has vintage 50 wiring bummble bee capicitors, Gibson Custom buckers sounded great no doubt about it no run of the mill burstbuckers pro or 57, so when I changed to Virgil Arlo like yourself I was blown away with the clarity definition in every note you play handles gain notes seem to bloom I’ve never heard anything likI saw hese makes you want to keep playing what more can 🗣‼️🎸🗣🇮🇪

Did you change any potensio or other electronics ? Mine is made in mexico fender strat. Plan to have this mojotone, do you think I need to change any electronics ? Thanks.
@rebbeche5 жыл бұрын
Hi Yoseph RA These pickups came pre wired with pickguard from mojotone they also sell them like this. I highly recommend changing the pots because what Fender does is cut cost to make more profit even on there American brands. you can check RS Guitarworks on line they sell kits that are high quality and will Make you guitar sound high end, Thanks 🙏

@rebbeche5 жыл бұрын
You can check this link out and hear the different comparisons and read the comments kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKqnkKOwnsaLoZY I really like these pickups they have a unique sound to them and mojotone really invested a lot in make them. it really depends on your personal preference when I heard them They attracted me instantly. Hope this help.

Thoughts on these vs the mojotone 59's?
@rebbeche5 жыл бұрын
It really depends on your guitar when it comes to pickups some guitars are bright some are darker, i find the mojotones brighter, a little more cleaner and balanced between the pickups they are more dynamic and sensitive to your playing and they have that sizzle on the top end. The fat 50’s are warmer and lush I do miss a bit on the mid and top they are less sensitive. Again all in the guitar u use, Ash body brighter Alder body more balanced, hope that helps.
