Just played my Taylor 814ce and my Maton EBG808TE. I’d never compared any two of my guitars until now. I think my Maton sounds brighter and more pleasant and my Taylor sounds deeper and richer. Playability wise both are par on each other.

Nice, we can really ear the difference on tone. I don’t see a real reason why the timber of the HD28V should be so different to the HD28 one. A good demonstration that the piece of wood selected can do all the difference.

I actually have both, the GS is the lick no doubt, but I'm just partial to Martin. American since 1833, there is just a sound Martin brings that just screams, doesn't matter what your playing it always sound better on a Martin. That being said, does anyone know what this guy said😂

Great comparison sir. Both guitars sounded good but to me the Gibson was clearly the warmer sounding guitar.
