Love you vids and I will definitely copy your itinerary when I travel to Japan. Thank you for making it so detailed!! just a question if the kiyomizu-dera temple, sannen-zaka, and gion district are all walkable and do you think it can be done with a kimono?

Love this video! I’m planning my trip now. How many days would you recommend in Kyoto?
@karenexplores13 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! ❤ Really depends how long you are going for. I would say give minimum 3-4 days (if you’re tight on time). You can definitely spend a lot longer here depending on how much you want to see too.

Sorry, but this is insanely much and not the minimum you need. I just came back from a 3.5 week trip to Osaka, Kyoto and the surrounding area and spend like 2500 euro and even got back with a full suitcase of new clothes, manga, figures, pokemon cards and snacks. So it really depends on what crazy things you burn your money on.

Worth noting the fast pass is ONLY for a few, limited rides. This is very clear when you buy the pass, I'm not sure why it's so vague in the video.

No joke about the shoes. If you plan to do any amount of walking this is very mandatory. Use nice shoes designed for walking! Side note: I brought my hiking sandals with me that I had for 5 years and they never failed me. Two days of walking in the rural areas of Japan had these things falling apart. I joke that it must be something in the Japanese soil that don't like American footwear, but.....
