The beginning: the setting moon? How can that be the moon when on April the 18th, it was waxing gibbous? It supposed to be long gone before sunrise, unless it was waning gibbous. Or even better, the FULL MOON. Maybe the beginning shot was shot a day or two after April the 21st for some reason. The editing part has its magic. 🪄

Amazing for the Brooklyn Botanical Garden to preview the Sakura Masturi festival in 2010. I was age 12 years old when me and my parents saw this on TV.

FYI, after hosting the premiere for the Garden's Facebook followers, we'll post the full video on bbg.org next week.

First post in 6 years. Why would you post this only on Facebook instead of posting via your KZbin channel? Not everyone wants, has or uses facebook.
@BrooklynBotanicGardenOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Never fear - we're hosting the premiere for our Facebook followers, then will post it publicly next week. About that KZbin hiatus... we had some trouble accessing our account when it moved to Google, and got pretty established over at Vimeo. You can see a full library of content there; and we'll be bringing some of that over here, too.

@@BrooklynBotanicGardenOfficial I don't want to be there I want to have you here. most people have Gmail or Google accounts. You have a built-in audience and hopefully you'll post more *here* going forward.

***** you have to remember my corallary to an old saying: those that can, DO, those that can't, write books. I fail to see why this was on a news program. Everyone knows of myriad of native poisonous plants across the nation. Just try popping a bane berry. Of course there are the new invasives like giant hogweed. The Joker could have used that one to rearrange Kim Bassinger's face in Batman.

I wouldn't cut anything green over 3-4" anywhere near the trunk.. On beech trees best to leave the live limbs alone unless there is a structural issue, in which case you need to take some weight of the branch tips, not the interior.. hate to be a party popper, but that tautline is serious old school inefficiency, and setting a friction saver half way up the tree makes no sense, unless you were just doing it for the camera. If I was in charge, you;d have a 75' elevator. no looking back from there

How amazing trees are! Always there standing fixed at one place fused with the earth and everything else passes by them, sometimes the whole world! And the trees forever there, silently witness history go by their trunks :-))
