£3.49 for a silver semi-premium, £9 for a premium...something really doesn't add up here. Not to mention £19 for Team Transports, one premium car and a truck that's 70% plastic at least. Our prices are absolutely insane. That's why I've bought only one premium in the last year. I'm sticking to ebay mostly and trying to rebuy favourites from childhood and other cool old stuff I find for cheap. '80s Siku can't be beaten. Love those Mercedes-Sauber C9s. I've found the TT but I can't justify dropping that much on it; my favourite is the silver one, I had a scalextric one just like that as a kid, but I actually love the AEG livery one (I had a poster with that one on it!), I wanted that diorama set but again, I just couldn't justify dropping that much on it. The TT one also looks cool though, maybe if Tesco have a moment of weakness and discount them to a sensible price (yeah, right)... On the Fiats, I think the green is better, honestly never really clicked with Gulf colours. It's not bad looking, but the green is really cool. Hoping I can find the mainline yellow one eventually, I collect tiny/peoples/city/kei type cars and the Cinquecento is a certified icon of such cars. The STH is a nice surprise, just don't develop an expensive habit...

@Josh_Quillan hey man how's it going! Honestly I really enjoyed the brutal and grounded honesty of this comment. You're so right. UK collectors have to pay the Hot Wheels tax hard but it's just how things are and you forgot to even mention RLC prices but let's not go there 😂 It's cool to enjoy a hobby and set aside a monthly budget for hot wheels which is what I do. Paying £40 - £100+ for 1 super on eBay is crazy. You're right to hunt around for the real bargains as if you look often you can snag some absolute winners 🥇 🚗💨 appreciate you and thanks for the great comment and support. This year is likely to be my first since 2017 where I won't have found a Super TH. 2018 was the green ZL1, 2019 that Porsche 911 GT3 & 2020 was the green Pagani Huayra. In '21, having checked through my collection, I found a Datsun 620 from around 2017 which still counts, 2022 there was a red Shelby Cobra in my local toyshop and then last summer I found not one but TWO red Lotus Evija Supers in that same shop, just a few weeks apart. I'm resigned to accepting that my luck of 6yrs is not doing to last. But then the year isn't over & I've been lucky enough to find a BumbleBeetle mainline & they have been VERY popular models and thin on numbers in stores. I'm sure the Beetle is one to a case..... 1:35 I have this same issue in my nearest Smyths store & this is why I've often checked out the Teesside, Sunderland and Wallsend (Tyneside) branches of Smyths instead, when I make a trip North to see my family. This is how I've found the Bumblebee Bug and (in a previous trip) the larger 1/43 scale Nissan R34, from either Teesside & Sunderland. My local Smyths is often rinsed and I would swear the employees are saving them for themselves or putting them aside for pals and the scalping community to flip for profits..... I know I shouldn't mention the store by location but it's in East Anglia and it's a waste of time trying to find anything good from the shop - all you get is the leftovers they aren't interested in. A bit cr4p 😢

Hey man! How's it going? Cheers for the great comment. Really enjoyed reading that we are basically living parallel lives but with mine being down here in the big smoke. I've been trying different stores further afield more myself this week and will make another video about hunting down epic hot wheels 👍 takes mega ages mate to piece together a vid that I feel happy with. I'm liking this new format of mine though and the hybrid hunting and review stuff slammed together is fun to build as content for sure. Congratz on the bumblebee! Yes one in a case and it's likely that it'll only be across 2 cases this year so probably a car you can find 2/1000+ for 2024. Super hectic! But I know that it's all just a matter of time and I'm hunting and out enough looking to find my own 👍 don't lose faith on the super mate. Keep hunting and getting out there when you can. Right place right time! Need to get lucky for sure. And massively yes. Sealed cases across Smyths and entertainer stores especially are 101% being raided by staff and just the scraps being put out for real collectors like us. But what can we actual do about it?? I know people gotta eat but dam really those employees really gotta pop every box that comes in? So hectic. Don't let it slow you down mate. @@customcollects Well since you asked I have a kind of funny story. I just got back into collecting Hot Wheels 3 months ago. I used to be HUGE into collecting back in the late 1990's but gave it up. Anyway, about 3-4 weeks ago I found my 2nd STH on the pegs and it was the gold 507. The first one I found also happened to be the 507. So I ended up doing a trade with someone for the Red 1989 Mercedes. That showed up in the mail 3 days ago and I love it. Then 2 days I went out in the morning and ended up at a Family Dollar and guess what I found hanging there on the pegs? Yep, the red STH Mercedes! I couldn't believe the timing! So now I've traded the spare Mercedes for the gold Fiat STH and that should be here next week 👍🏻

Oh man! Am I glad I asked you!! That story was both funny and epic. That's hilarious and it kinda falls into that category of "what you're looking for the most, eventually finds you" which I've said before in an older video. As it always happens to me. I'll want something in particular and then go to eBay, pay a tax like an idiot and you know that literally the next day before it arrives in the mail I go out and find one. BMW 507 is epic and I'm pleased to hear you swapped it for another golden nugget. I've been toying with"treating myself" to the 500d super but haven't found one for a reasonable price yet. Congratz on your finds. You have the luck mate so it looks like you're back in the hobby and I'm sure your wallet will be please haha. Cheers for the really great comments. Im still trying to find my first also! last year I found about every regular TH this year slowed down only two the Tooligan and the Dragon Wagon I just found a Zamac truck pack at Walmart which was Rad those were gone as soon as they hit the stores. great Vid

Hey man how's it going? Keep on hunting! Get out there and check supermarkets and toy shops whenever you can. The more chances you create you more likely you are to find a win! HOWEVER / BUT! 😂 like I say in the video. Employee resellers aren't stupid and I'm sure they are very happy making extra money selling on eBay whenever they open a box in the stockroom. Luckily, like you saw in my video. Opportunities arise and if you're smart you can also find a super too 👍 I should make a video sharing some great pro tips. That would actually be a really fun video to make. Keep up the good work mate. I hope that the luck I sent you from my video brings you great fortune for the future 🚗💨🔥

I'm not wasting my time editing hours and hours of footage just to lie to people. That's just crazy! And yes. Which country are you in? I can only tell my story based on my experience living in the UK 🇬🇧 I have heard from other collectors that their country charges additional fees and this is just something that needs to happen. My ultimate pro tip for you is to build a cart with at least 10-20 cars and then before clicking buy YOU MUST take your total amount and divide that price including shipping and taxes by each car to get a price per car. That way you can decide if it's worth pressing buy or if you can source the cars elsewhere for cheaper! Make smart decisions my dude! @@customcollects that’s awesome premium stuff is so user hard to get seems like it always drops while I’m at work but that’s definitely a nice find the very best tips I could give is 3 get to know your stores restock habits and patterns then hone in on around the time they tend to stock it will take a few trips but it will pay off n the end leave no stone when hunting the next two rules r b consistent b consistent two to three times a day check your stores the hunt never ends hope u the best of luck bro with many more supers to come 👍🍀

That super Camaro has two variations. You have the black one, there is also one in grey. I only noticed when I found three at different dollar stores and stacked them. Then I noticed real quick. Funny thing, they were all found in C case not B.

The car I found looks like it has 3-4 coats of paint where as the other car I bought on eBay looks more silver and painted in spectraflame paint only once! I'll highlight exactly what you're talking in a future upload. Hope you've been out hunting recently yourself and found some great pieces to add I to your collection! Which cars were in a C case btw. Yes brother. International collectors have to accept the import taxes and logistics involved for our American hobby. coldpopcarl! My guy it's great to read another kind and insightful comment from you as always. Very happy memory of mine to find those boxes and a hidden treasure within! The best part of this video is that everything you watch is just the way I walk up to it in the video and I like that. You can very easily spot staged videos as they always hide the super behind the first car 😂 once you realise this you see that lots of people do it. Very funny. A neighbour near me he has a 1960s 500 and it's great to see it every day if I'm driving past. Makes me always think about hot wheels. When was the last time you found a super in the wild mate? Congrats. I recall the first time I found 1 in the wild over 20 years ago. Of course I have since found a decent amount but even when you are first you don’t always find 1. Last week I was first to 9 L cases and all were duds. Only mainline Firebirds no STHs.

I'll be making a video about it in the future. I compared the two together and the one I found seems to have a few extra coats of paint. The one I'm opening looks much better in my opinion anyway. How many supers have you found in total roughly? I've opened sealed cases too and they were duds. But if every case had a super then they wouldn't be special. Facts. Firebird is very good looking. @@customcollects I just bought the Firebird and Lambo but loose. Early snuggles into the US I suspect because the seller already has the finest 3 or 4 for next year. There was a time when I rarely found STH. In my area of the US the best place is typically grocery stores. This year alone I have found about 8 that were from last year besides this years ones I have found.

Loving all of the videos you've done on hunts -- not just cam footage of peg browsing, but pertinent facts about past, present, and future Hot Wheels. Always a pleasure! I've been coming up empty handed recently, but I'll be OK as long as you keep finding more supers.🙌 P.S. My tower of garage dioramas continues growing! Currently filling up a new Shell themed one (the 100% Hot Wheels series from the early 2000's has tons of Shell themed vehicles) and waiting on the final RTR Mustang to complete the custom RTR garage I decorated. Keep up the good fight brother 🫡🤝 If I have an empty slot in my diorama parking garages I always get more stoked when I see sneak peeks on social media of cars that will fill the void. Loose is the way! Opening them. Building displays. Hunting for matching cars to build an awesome collection. And of course, just how hot wheels LOOK 100% better outside of the plastic bubble are all things "investors" are missing out on. Keep living your best life man. A man of culture I see! Yeah wow that's such a good looking super 👌 so many mainline basics of a super are like that as some can go for as much as 10 bucks on eBay so resellers see that as a "win" which just means that we have to go out hunting for hot wheels A LOT MORE 😉

The moon eyes transport is a dream and I laughed so much when I saw that blue ronin Mazda as that freaking car evaded me and I never managed to pick one of those up when that set was around. I have 4 out of 5 cars and that rx7 haunts my dreams to this very day 😂 of course you got one for pretty much retail which is amazing. Keep up the good work sir. I feel your pain mate. Sometimes Poundland stores near me have 6-7 cars hung up for over a month! Entertainer is rinsed to pieces like I talked about in my video. Did you see how many Aston martins there were. Utter joke. Might need to treat yourself to a sunny day out in London then dude? You're not too far. See some sights spend a whole bunch of money and hit some stores round my way 👍 need to get myself more sorted with emails and grow my socials etc. Takes many days and multiple hours to build one of my videos. I did travel a good amount of distance for this video but you're right that what I found was also super lucky and I'm fully aware that most collectors can only dream to even find a mainline skyline at their local store. Congrats on the Camaro Super🎉. I am really on the hunt for that Honda Accord TT and Optimus TrackFleet. The lose wing on The Merc makes me think of the Mazda 787B premiums I have that have the removable engine cover because the wings are loosexand wonky on them also. I got Doms RX-7 and wheel swapped and added some details to make it more premium looking. Amazing haul and video, thanks for sharing and just doing you man thats why I love your channel. I've already bought one to open from eBay as someone was practically giving one away that had a creased card and when I compared the two supers together the one I found is really dark, where as the one I bought has only had what looks like one coat of paint. I'm gonna make a video so you'll see what I'm talking about in the future. Thanks man! Super happy that I finally found one as everyone and even the nice old ladies in the supermarkets are clued up about hot wheels here in the UK for sure. It's been a very very long time coming for me. Have you found a bumble bee car yet?? Need to wait until the hype train leaves the station as everyone is grabbing those. Yes very little difference visually with the RX-7 but also it's in hand wheee you can feel the quality and where the extra money goes on the premium 👍 hope you're feeling better now too bro. @@customcollects We havent got that far on cases yet, we just got the case with Pajero Super im not sure on the letter because the super I found of it was an international card. I do wanna get the Bumblebee as a G1 Transformers fan because thats what the casting is modeled after. I have bought 2 supers from Ebay also one loose the A case tooned Batmobile and 64 Chevy Nova Gasser carded and only paid $25 for each which wasnt to bad imo, I opened the gasser anyway to put in my display case. Its always great to find a super and dont worry my hands shake and I usally run to find my wife like a little excited to find a toy🤣 she loves it though and enjoys my dioramas being lit up at night so she can see whats going on. @@customcollects I go to a place I have been visiting since I was a kid, Ocean City, Maryland here in the states. I live in western Maryland up in the mountains and we go down there to the beach every summer to visit for a week or more usually. This was a once in a lifetime haul for me, I spent around $54 usd and got the 3 M2Machines chases, 2 of the blvd chibi R32, the Porsche and the last two I needed from the J-imports silver series the Honda Crx and Toyota Starlet. Those chases alones are in the $30-$50 range for one alone so I dont think I did that bad and they are castings I like 2 gassers and the Mello Yello Camaro Z28 Funny car.

I store my rlc ford gt 40 in a custom cardboard garage its really awesome and i store all my rare rlcs supers etc in a drawer i got from walmart

Haha! I don't normally buy treasure hunts as they are mostly fantasy or also slightly ugly "cars" but the red beetle is a great VW and I picked one up when it was released. Wish I could go back to the video man and snag that one and just send it to you! I would happily do it to for another collector. I know you will "hate" me even more but today I found my first super treasure hunt for 2024! Finally!! I will make a video about it in the future. Hope you'll be back to watch it. But as a largely loose collector with a lot of experience handling these 1:64 models. For me, majorette products are not for me. But I respect that they are also loved by many.
