Full disclosure: I live in Arlington now and have been a Texas Ranger fan since my first MLB game I attended at Arlington Stadium in 1972 when the Rangers played their first game as the Texas Rangers. I was also a Josh Hamilton fan, at least initially, simply due to the perseverance and the work ethic displayed as he tried to earn another chance at playing in the show. I was sad to see how his body broke down over the years, undoubtedly having been affected by years of substance abuse. And his wife Katie seemed initially to be a solid partner for him, supporting him until it became obvious that she wanted him to leave the Rangers in free agency. Without doubt, she pushed him to leave the Rangers so she could cash in and do some serious shopping. Funny how once they "arrived" in Anaheim and she got a taste of Hollywood / celebrity status that she suddenly wanted a divorce. So nearing the end of his playing career, having been dumped by his wife, now back in Texas - who knows what, if anything, his daughter actually did to make him angry enough to punish her?? I know if we'd had laws and aggressive enforcement like the ones applied to Hamilton, my parents could have gone to jail multiple times. How many of us as children were "forcibly restrained" and / or struck with an open hand on the backside; and how could that have looked if you're struggling trying to get away from your parents meeting out discipline??? Could he have gone overboard?? Absolutely! But I in no way believe he was or is a violent man who cannot handle his daughters. I believe he may have been having an already bad day and she popped off with something smart or defiant and he wasn't having it. Only in the times now at hand could potentially appropriate discipline of your own child lead to criminal charges . . .

Ventura won - He was unscathed by Ryan's desperate attempts at punches. Ventura led the takedown of Ryan which left Ryan about to pass out while Ventura looked on, unhurt, unfazed, the winner.

The headline is SO misleading. "Unbelievable Crimes"?! Seriously? Low quantity narcotics possessions and one DUI don't make him anywhere remotely close to the monster this headline makes him out to be. Next, he pronounced his first name, "VIGH-duh," not "VEE-da," as the AI voice mistakenly says. Also, there's one pic captioned "1967," in which Reggie Jackson, not Blue, appears. Newsflash: Not all black men look alike! You really should consider re-titling and re-editing this video.

I enjoy these videos, but they contain some significant inaccuracies. Are they generated by AI, which can sometimes suffer from hallucinations? At the beginning of this video, the creator confuses the 1984 and 1987 seasons.

Lots of FALSE info here so dont expect any ' Subscribes'. Sandy retired in 1966, not 1971 and SS Roy McMillan was never a teammate of his. The constant calling him ' Koo-fax' is about as disgraceful a thing on KZbin sports.. U guys can take a hike.

From what I have read, he was a bit of a loose cannon for most of his career. He could not control his temper. This lead to him breaking his pitching hand after punching a wall while he was with the Yankees.

Not true. There was some discontent. But hate the shortstop? Name one person who hated Campaneris? VEEDA Blue? No. VIDA Blue. Some much embellished. So much fake. I was a ' go to all home games ' of the 72, 73, 74 A's. Rollie Fingers showed up to get me out of a rough patch. These gentlemen were a class act. May God bless them all.

No, McGwire didn't gain any competitive advantage over his peers, since the vast majority of them were also using PEDs. The reason why he shouldn't be in the Hall is simply that he doesn't have big enough numbers for somebody who was juiced: he should have retired with far many more homers than 583. More importantly, he wasn't exactly a solid all-around player -- much less a five-tool player. Had he played exceptional defense in a demanding position (e.g. shortstop), I'd have no problems with overlooking his use of steroids. The standards for getting into Cooperstown should be higher for players in the Steroid Era.
