My college just decide to not do electrical engineering this year. Should I switch my major to civil engineering. If so why is it worth it. I’d rather hear the harsh truth.
@kolkena Жыл бұрын
Depends what you want to do. CE is a great major, but not for everyone. An underrated major in my opinion is IT because it's so flexible.

I love seeing and hearing about other peoples results. Your story goes to show, (at least from your mother's side) that the inhabitants of Cyprus are the same people regardless of their religion and language they speak at home.

Yep my results have the same problem. My dads maternal side dates back to the Netherlands all the way to the 1500s, yet my results show 0 Dutch and instead says 3 % sweeden and denmark. I think Ancestry can not determine what dutch dna looks like
@NH-ge4vz2 жыл бұрын
Because Dutch is not an ethnic group, Dutch is part of Western Low Germans which are genetically akin to Danes. Not having a seperate category means you get placed in neighbouring areas.

Hey Alex, congrats on passing your PMP. Question for you, I personally always likes to read my questions out loud "quietly", only by moving my lips. I know they cant let you move your lips during an online exam, so not sure if you were able to do that or not during a testing center. They dont have do a 1 on 1 proctor like an online exam is that right? So you basically just go to a computer and then log in and take the exam and thats it at a testing center? Also, were there a lot of questions in regards to the 49 processes? And if so what type of questions were there? During the exam at the testing center, does it give you a clock to let you know how long you have spent on the exam through out it? The link that you have provided for learning agile questions, isn't valid any more. Can you please provide it again? Thank you so much!
@kolkena2 жыл бұрын
When I took the test, the proctor stayed outside the testing room and only came out when I had to take a 15-minute break (they had to walk me out of the testing room, check my ID, etc.) Questions touched on the 49 processes, but I didn't have to memorize them all. There's a "countdown" clock of sorts on the computer screen during the whole exam. I've updated the link.

I think AncestryDNA or 23andMe tend to do a genealogical analysis based on their database rather than actual DNA analysis. You could be a Dutch or Greek living in Australia but your DNA is still Duch, Greek etc. you never acquire "Australian" DNA. So, if you are Cypriot and think you are a mix you should get percentages of Greek, Asian or other DNA rather than just "Cypriot" type. -All my second degree relatives from my father's side are living in Australia and it would be interesting to see if those tests will make me Australian as well rather than Greek.

This is a strange mix on the Cypriot. Usually you will have Italy/Greece or Balkan. Caucasus or Anatolian and small percentage of Middle Eastern and maybe small percentage of Africa. I'm a Cypriot Turk.

Scandinavian is Germanic too lol some people from the north Germanic countries share a lot of DNA from Scandinavians although is possible for Scandinavian admixture it's definitely not more than 10 percent
@NH-ge4vz2 жыл бұрын
It's very simple, the Netherlands has no distinct category so they will ALWAYS score a mix of neighbouring regions. The reason Scandinavia is usually so high is because the Netherlands (as a country, if we don't count Schleswig and Niedersachsen as bundeslander) is the closest country to Scandinavia. As a country average, the Netherlands will score closest to Denmark, then Norway, then Germany, England, Iceland or Scotland, then Wales, Sweden or Ireland and then, oddly enough so low, Belgium.

I have watched a few other videos where view rate is so high than this and I understood that too.. but this video with the perfect pace and representing style like writing what is Simpsons paradox initially put more weight. Thank you so much. What I understood sometimes views rate not matters, it might be only due to they have more subscribers they got it like Simpsons paradox.. 😄
