I think the Heart and Stroke PSA is counter-productive. If you die from a heart attack or a stroke, your last 10 years will be like the first case (if it's your first heart attack or if you're dying directly from the stroke) but if you die from cancer or other old age diseases, your last 10 years will be like the second case. And I think most people would rather die at 90 with their 10 last years suffering from dementia and living in a retirement home than die at 60-70 with their previous 10 years living healthy. To be more efficient, the PSA message should be "how do you want to live your sixties/seventies"

i think that PETA's criticism of how some animals are treated and factory farms is incredibly valid. HOWEVER. the solution is not ceasing animal agriculture; it's giving people the ability to treat the animals right and making sure they're cared for. a lot of things in certain parts of the industry are inhumane and cruel, but that doesnt mean humane farmers should be punished

Interestingly enough, those are the lucky ones They actually do get their scales cut off, and are litterley left to die in piles of others in the same situation as them, often for days, until they die from shock or pain or bleeding Seriously, don't buy real snake scales. These snakes are taken from the wild and don't deserve to be treated this way. Fake snake scales are much better. I told this to someone once, and they said in return, "Well, I don't really care about snakes" the solution is so easy. Just stop buying these scales and just get fake ones.
