Man. Final Fantasy X-2 is just Yuna grieving and trying to figure life after Sin. In the usual Stepford Smiler way,she tends to hide her pain with a smile. Yeah. First impressions don't help but it makes sense in context. She just lost Tidus who saved her from needlessly throwing away her life as Tidus takes her place. FF X-2 really is a diamond in the rough but not a waste of time as many say it is.

A common theme I see with main antagonists across final fantasy games that I find cool and interesting is that the majority of them don’t start off evil. They tend to have this badass yet sad story where their good intentions in some way are thwarted, usually by someone or something completely beyond their control, gradually causing their decent into madness. They’re dealt a cruel hand by fate, tragedy after tragedy, gradually warping their sense to justice and reality, no longer trying to solve the world’s problems or seek redemption. They take hold of whoever life’s cruelty shaped them into, pursuing their vile intentions, believing in a demented way that they’re still pursuing what they initially were, even if that goal involves genocide to achieve it. This was seen in Sephiroth’s origin and it is ESPECIALLY evident with Seymour. Seymour’s origins initially are a sad and tragic tale, what with attempting the Summoner’s Pilgrimage at only 8 and having experienced losing his mother to become a Fayth. Between that, his extended time in isolation at Baaj temple, the discrimination he endured as a half bred child of his human mother and Guado Maester father, the wrath brought about via Sin and the dark truth behind the Yevon teachings, one could understand this shattering one’s psyche. Seymour is absolutely in insane, callous and demented being, no doubt. But still.

Just finished the entire video, bravo. Your attention to detail and thoroughness really brought me back to playing this when it came out. I really appreciate you making this and I hope to watch it again at some point. I also forgot how great the original graphics were when compared to the remaster. Really great video.

The first time I got to this part, I got the Auron scene. The silence before Tidus says "You're no fun to ride with at all" had me in stitches. Auron'ss slightly indignant "Wut?" however? That had me wheezing for air.

Massively underrated videos

I got Lulu first and said you're more my type (like most of us 😏) then I got hugged by Rikku and ended up with Yuna for the rest and tossing my balls on my first playthrough and had no idea there were different ones till I watched this today. Loved all the other scenes but I like what I got, Lulu was my 1st goth queen, then Rikku was bae.. but Yuna was waifu in the end 👍

5:19:25 when Yuna says “Oh- I’m sorry” she’s supposed to turn over and look at Tidus. But for some reason when the game released in NA, the model didn’t register to turn over to Tidus. That’s why her lips don’t move. This bothered me for years since I was a kid but after some research I now know why 😅

Hello, Just started this wonderful yet very underrated PoP game on my PS3 Slim. One of the reasons is trophy hunting. I have known this game for ages; finished it as a teen on PC, I believe, yet at that time I was focused mainly on the story. The story is great, the characters are perfect, the tree of upgrades is also very good. I like the sense of humor of this Prince. Elika, not going to lie, is very attractive, yet also very smart. It might get a bit repetitive when fighting certain enemies, but which game is perfect, right? The pro here is that you cannot die, which is one of the rarest games it is built in. Glad I got this game again, this time not only immersive myself more into the story, but also into the trophy hunting, which might be challenging, but not impossible. Thanks and happy gaming.

This alternate cutscene happens when you load the Last Mission without the X-2 save file where Tidus came back. Doesn't this also change one of Tidus' limit breaks? It's purely cosmetic but it does change who throws the ball for one of his overdrives.
