How often do you listen to Stan Getz with Oscar Peterson Trio, or Stan Getz in particular?
@ColinLeary12 күн бұрын
A lot of both! Stan and Oscar are both in my top artists. They each just played so melodicly and it sounded so beautiful.

@@ColinLeary the intergenerational way of learning this music is the most beautiful force there is. I am 79-I learned from older cats the same way you are doing here with Joel. And it goes both ways. He learned something from you and about the process.

@@bobblues1158 I really appreciate the comment. Working with Joel has been an amazing process. He is an absolute genius, no doubt about it. We both agreed after playing how much fun we had and I got the oppurtunity to play with him a few times since then. Such an amazing guy and an amazing musician. Thank you so much for the comment.

@@reflex5917 Thanks so much! I have been working on my sound getting smother so I appreciate hearing it. I know the song well and do not follow sheet music for jazz standards most of the time.
