Grails and Portals: Outer space conquistador beans. That's what this is. It's the same BS deal. Then they move in some sort of Vogon bureaucracy and it's all about how we killed Earth spiders, or something. F this.

Why has this album been disappeared? Never been on Spotify, hopelessly out of print… why???? It’s so obviously great

"Jim Thirlwell's time working with The Bad Seeds [in 1983] was fairly brief. 'Nick and I wrote 'Wings Off Flies' together, we actually wrote it at Lydia [Lunch]'s place in London on her piano," he says. "She had the words and he'd worked on the words with this guy from Melbourne, Pierre Voltaire.' Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight I'm gonna open up your gate And maybe tell you 'bout Phaedra And how she gave me life And how she made it end Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight <Nancy> Flowers growing on a hill, dragonflies and daffodils Learn from us very much, look at us but do not touch Phaedra is my name <Lee> Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight I'm gonna open up your gate And maybe tell you 'bout Phaedra And how she gave me life And how she made it end Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight <Nancy> Flowers are the things we know, secrets are the things we grow Learn from us very much, look at us but do not touch Phaedra is my name <Lee> Some velvet mornin' when I'm straight <Nancy> Flowers growing on a hill <Lee> I'm gonna open up your gate <Nancy> dragonflies and daffodils <Lee> And maybe tell you 'bout Phaedra <Nancy> Learn from us very much <Lee> And how she gave me life <Nancy> look at us but do not touch FADE <Lee> And how she made it end

*The Witch Expression* Mirna's mind is deep in battle calling forth all sorts of people, of demons, angels, and agents, to cast upon her enemy. She's sitting cross-legged on the floor, her expression is only blank. There is someone she can't explain, or reach up high to supersede. Then society closes in, she's withdrawn to a witch battle and she's lost to scatterbrains, a limply laying expression. -Aldec the Alchemist, Nib C-2

*Secrecy and the Truth* "A North Star" To understand the truth of the world on must understand first that the world is based on secrecy, that all secrecy has modes of communication, and that all secrecy is either short-term or long-term. There are three arenas in which secrecy can lie. They are in 1. Politics, in 2. Religion, and in 3. Science, Engineering, and Mathematics and sometimes these areas are intertwined. Also, one must understand there are only two major modes of communication being books and electronics, and that in both there is a shared irony of those who can understand the secrecy.

Muggle horrors. Muggle horrors. Are they mixing science with Christianity, prior drug use, and a life of legal precedence? There is no grosser oleo or margarine.

*Intuitive Leaps* Marijuana inhibits one's natural telepathic resolve. They become closed off to communication. Not only that, they often learn by listening. Good luck with Trigonometry. Later on, they become introverted as though their mouths were sealed shut. Hahaha 🤣. Hahaha 😂

*The Vampire's Card Swindle* Bedside manner is the art of the thief and a thief is usually more intelligent. People don't like to realize their lower place, especially when they are paying customers. People do not listen to someone stating hard facts or putting them in their place. The reasoning behind that is the vast argument which is only understood through paper. So put it in writing or say it with tact. That's the only way to get away without a bad impact. 😆

According to a lot of Seattle grunge Bands who've said that The Scientists were a major influence on them and the whole grunge scene, I'd say The Scientists were a very important Rock band. One of the best gigs I went to in 1983 was The Scientists and The Celibate Rifles at Bryant's Manly Vale.

This song absolutely deserves a remastering to bring out that violin a bit more to the foreground along with the guitar. The point being to convey the intended feeling and delicate mood of this beautifully tragic song.

A Mexican Funeral in Paris LRYICS: There was Zombi, there was Chino There was Jimmy and Chiarakaparos We agreed to split the stuff up At a Mexican funeral in Paris Don Alvaro Jose Sanchez Bathed in Holy water Said a silent adios to his lovely daughters To his sons and to the killers A scar, tattoo, a blood line scorned Revenge the only game! Father McGreer arrived with the gear Had a chat and a bit of a smoke He initiated me into The Church of the Holy Spook He said "Death will follow anywhere Until it's found its plan" Then he laughed and waved goodbye and said "Stay lucky while you can!" Machine gun fire split the silent Softness of the day Five wetback jerks in tuxes Got fucking blown away I thought I was Chiarakaparos First time I've been, maybe not the last To a Mexican funeral in Paris
