I could have looked for someone else BUT God's grace was with me. He became my husband. And for more than 30 years now, He has never left me nor forsaken me. And He has been Faithful. Maybe you can help me with a question, I've heard it argued 1 Cor 6:8 forbids suing period because of the line; "But you yourselves wrong and defraud-even your own brothers!" 'even your own brothers' implies Paul is condemning filing lawsuits with anyone, not only brothers. That said that is the ESV rendering, but other versions such as KJV render it differently "Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren." How would you respond to this? Thank you

Currently enrolled at ats and love it, went to a very very small unaccredited place which i found out was little more than a diploma mill and the place i found after had its address to a mailbox at a strip mall. And several people of the faith have stuff from places like that. Alot of people just want the credentials me personlly im in the works at a community college for an actual degree for my career. I just want to study my faith. I know my seminary wont get me a salary advance i just want to be a missionary. God saved me and changed my life. Bless you all!:)

I give you an apology for not being respectful of your views. I was taken up with Rebecca brown but after reading your observation that she looked to a witch for most of the information I thought critically about this. She quoted a lot of the Bible throughout this book, but you are correct in that she and Elaine made satan seem too powerful. When I read that Dr. Brown was addicted to a powerful pain killer this really made me stop. You are correct that our Holy Bible is the final authority and we really are dealing with a loser, the devil. At the time I read the book it made it seem as though being a child of God wasn't enough, and satan could do what he wanted to me. It took me a long time to get over the fear of losing to the big loser the devil and Dr. Brown's book did not help. After I began to seek out the Lord's will about this book in my life He directed me to reread it but this time with His holy Bible next to it. In comparison with the Bible it seems like the book doesn't give proper glory to Jesus. So I apologize to you. You made me think critically about this information and what God did for us on the cross. If people get saved from the book, praise God. Our ultimate authority is God and bless His holy name!

There’s a question of the original Hebrew definitions of the words in divorce and separation and even remarriage. You have not addressed the original biblical meanings. “Putting away”. “separation” and “ certificate of divorce”. Study The Old Testament on marriage, putting away, certificate of divorce and remarriage. Even Jesus referred to The Torah in The Old Testament regarding marriage and it was when the Pharisees were testing Him. I can see after reading comments this man is in over his head in his advice.
