40/40 set means: 2 pieces of gear, a wand and an offhand, almost always with mods of the same attribute. In this video the attribute was Domination. On a 40/40 set, the mods are always 20% Half Cast Time, and 20% Half Skill Recharge, and both pieces have those same mods. So in total you have 20% + 20% Half Cast Time, and 20% + 20% Half Skill Recharge. To shorten the name, you just call it a 40/40 set.

I do use 1 plugin for the UI, minimalis UI v2.1. There are a few 3rd party launchers, so to use plugins I would recommend uMod v1_r44, or GWLauncher. But the general layout and size of things is something you can do by default. uMod and the plugins can be found on the wiki, which have been okayed by the devs since like 2007. wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Player-made_Modifications

I wasn't sure yet during the stream, but I am 100% sure Auto HDR works for GW1 in Windows11. Been messing around on a Linux install on the same system, and the game is noticeably dimmer.

I'm specifically using Umod, version 1. The plugins I'm using are: 50%-90% Marks, critical_hit, HD Dervish Skills, HD PvE Skills, Hi-Res Skill Icons, Improved Pets, Minimalus UI v2.1, and Realm_of_Torment_New_Map. I believe it was vacuum line related. I think I plugged the recirc valve pressure line into something else and it wasn't getting manifold pressure. You absolutely do not want stock recirc valves to sound like this, it will damage them or the shaft in the turbo. With the stock recirc valves, this sound is caused be the air pressure that is bouncing around stuck in the piping between the recirc valves and the turbo.

@@TaeSosaGaming I'm not sure about other systems, but I know a lot of aftermarket ones do result in this sound which is mostly intended and safe. You just really don't want this to happen with stock ones.

Updated builds: Player(Derv): OgGkQpV8qxaUAQfBPR3Xu4OIOJBG (For Great Justice is a wasted slot, swapped it for "Grenth's Aura" for a 100% instant heal for the end. Only other build I have changed was to use an Esurge Mesmer instead of the Ineptitude Mesmer. The increased DPS is consistently better, and no change in survival rate. BIS stats for shield are still what is shown in the video, or if you want to go all out, a shield with +10 vs Piercing/-3 while hexed is the absolute best.

It should work the exact same still, even on the Epic launcher version. You would just need to find the location where Epic launcher installed RL. There's probably an easy way to find it in the launcher settings. I still play the game through Steam, and I don't play any games on Epic, so I would try to find out yourself if Psyonix or Epic are more strict about using things like ReShade. It was fine to use for the first 4 or 5 years, but I would double check.

Damn it I had a similar experience that's been going on for two weeks now. I've met a veteran player who seemed very helpful at first, but then he started pestering me about meta builds and trying to rush me through content to get meta heroes and asking me to link every god damn template and type out their gear etc. Just let me enjoy the fucking game man! Old players sort of lost the perspective what this game actually is to new players and in trying to be helpful they are unintentionally souring the experience. Yes I am aware that my builds aren't top of the line and that I don't have full grasp of the game but I just want to learn it on my own.

When installing now, you will want to choose win64, and the DirectX 10/11/12 option, since Rocket League is no longer DirectX 9.

Here I am, coming back to the game my dad loved. When I started playing with him I was too young to understand much of Guild Wars. He passed away a year after this video came out (five years ago) and I just found guild wars yesterday night. I had forgotten the name but had a vague memory of the game play. This video shocked me and then blew my mind, the fact that there was so much I never touched. Anyway, maybe no one will ever see this comment. I'm okay with that. Thank you for making it.

there should be an easier way to get hanaku focus on your own and increase drop rate

Really the best way is just to farm for The Mindsqual instead. Also a 20/20 Dom, but it's easily soloable using an Obby Flesh/Sliver Ele. There's no real clear way to solo for Hanaku. SF, Scythe, Sin can only solo 1 out of every 10 tries because of the ranger rupts and daze. Only good method I found was to take my entire party, kill all but Hanaku, then flag them back by the rez shrine and solo it.

This is the video I followed when I played in this in June, things may be different now. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5Obendmi72Eq8k I've actually just swapped to Ubuntu, and I'm having the exact same issue when trying to run Libretro->RetroArch->mGBA, says I have no core installed. First try manually launching RetroArch and choosing the core to install. Then run Libretro. What you may need to do to get around the issue, is just to play it through your PS2, or other, emulator, instead of trying to run the emulator through RetroArch.

Not sure how you do it now, I assume it is the same as it was back when I recorded this video 5 years ago. I played recently and I'm pretty sure the setting should be one of the options when hosting a game.
