I love this game to death. The concept, the gameplay, the music, the barebones story, it’s perfect. It gives you just enough detail to help you understand the world, but there’s no real story besides the basic goal of reaching Safe Haven. The music is just beautiful. It holds a sort of hopeless hope in it with each track, that there’s some light at the nonexistent end of the tunnel. This game is a masterclass of a parody that just oozes with creativity and uniqueness. I genuinely hope one day someone makes a video about this game and it becomes known for the masterpiece it is.

As soon as you go into a radiation zone, and it starts playing "Rotting Meat Wagon"... That's the "Oh Crap, what did I just get myself into" moment.

When I heard the concept of the game I chuckled. I thought it was amusing I was not expecting such an entertaining game. The music really just seals the deal it perfectly creates the right atmosphere. I can just feel the dread and sorrow oozing out of it.

The names of the music, along with the music itself actually push a far more depressing narrative to me when compared to other games in the same genre- it feels less like some folks trying to survive a zombie outbreak and making it through, more like this is a legitmate end, that the world is dying and it's just living out your final days in its husk; you lost already, now you're just prolonging what comes next

Ravenous Decaying Teeth always gets me. Imagine driving at top speed down the highway just to get to your next destination, and you hear and feel a rumbling from behind you. You look in the rear view mirror, but can barely see anything in the pitch blackness even with the rear lights on. It's not long, however, before THEY break the veil of darkness behind you ; What seems to be a writhing mass of limbs and fur at first turns out to be an enraged stampede of undead deer, their lifeless eyes glinting in the dim light. They positively PELT towards you. For some ungodly reason, they are unbelievably fast. It's as if they're throwing themselves at you, hucked by some unseen hand over and over, clearly fuelled by an unholy hunger for human flesh. Several break off, somehow faster than even your fucking automobile, and launch themselves with an unnatural energy directly at the car. It takes one to teach you exactly how dangerous the stiff-yet-writhing corpse of a deer slamming into your car can be, and after swerving and strafing to get back in control, you line yourself up and focus... Here's where your driving is truly going to be tested. And that song fucking NAILS that desperation, especially with the calmer lead up the game gives it.
