The ending was alright. It was / is WAY blown out of proportion by the community as to how "bad" it actually was. I never hated the original end.. I didn't overly like it, but I didn't get upset by it. For me, a story of any kind is about the journey itself, not the final few pages at the end. I loved 99% of the entire trilogy's story and characters.. a mediocre end, which made up about 30 minutes of 70 hour long experience (roughly) was not going to ruin the 69 hours and 30 minutes of story prior to it. I think it's because people don't read fiction novels enough. I've read somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000 novels in my life so far... MANY of them have bad / weak endings... MOST in fact, end poorly. But you still enjoy all the pages leading up the end, those last few pages (for me) don't take away from the overall experience. Mass Effect was the same way to me. The new endings did, in my eyes, significantly improve on the original ending.

Picked up covid while on my work trip, recovered mostly but had to spend 2 nights in hospital as precaution (I'm a cancer survivor with a compromised immune system so I had to be extra careful and it hit me pretty hard). I'm past the worst of it now. Will try gaming on Sunday, maybe have a video up on monday or tuesday depending how much energy I have (still pretty tired though).

Used a mod. Used a lot of mods. Entire visuals have been overhauled with 2k and 4k textures as well.

Definitely will, just trying to balance my various projects a bit.

Head model/morph is ported from SWTOR with a mod.

Player model is slightly altered (a bit thinner, not technically curvier). You can see the original body model on Ice, compared to the player character. Same skeleton rig, but the player is a bit thinner all around. Was necessary due to the new head morph for the player which is actually a bit smaller than the default / original heads... Looked a little out of proportion on the original body.

@@JL-uc8rs No, never trained in acting or anything like that and I probably earn a better living than what most new voice actors likely would, so it's not a career path I would divert to unless I was really in need of a new job / career. I've only started doing this for the past 2 months I think for fun as a hobby. I might, maybe, one day try doing audio narration for a small book if I ever find a publisher interested in an amateur like me.

Definitely planning to resume Mass Effect 3 in the next week or so when I get home from my trip. Can't really play it properly while I'm away from home on my laptop (part of the reason why I'm doing this game, since it runs easily on my laptop and is easy to play in a hotel with my gaming rig setup at home). The XCOM series I had to abandon it YEARS ago when I my computer died and I lost all my save files. That series has been dead for years and I have no planst to restart it, way too much work.

Heh, thanks. I personally don't think so but I think mostly people hate the sound of their own voice as well. I have little to no "acting range" but I played a lot of pen & paper Dungeons and Dragons with friends as a teen and when I was college ages ago, so I got to "Act" / pretend a lot there and I'm just sorta feeding off that old energy.

I also love your voice, I think that experience in College prolly contributed alot to how good you sound especially for games like this where there is no voice for the main character.
