Hey pastor L , this was a great teaching

Great service! Today i just realized i was harboring resentment because i did feel like "I gave up everything for you!" But after the service i realized that i should be upset or resentful because i only did what i was supposed to do as a father and they didn't have to appreciate or even care about what i sacrificed for them because they didn't ask me to i choose to. Felt like a burden was lifted off of my shoulders now i can move on and feel free from the resentment and frustration that i no longer want to live with.

Last year I lost some family members and it was a tough time in my life. Then after returning home from the funeral my car broke down with me and my whole family in it . I was full of hurt 🤕 sorrow and confusion.😭, I felt physically sick 🤢 because my emotions were all over the place. This was the first time in my life I didn't know how to deal with death. I had plenty of family members pass before but this time it was different. I found myself hiding my emotions from my family Because I didn't want them to see me in this weak state of mind. I would break down crying in my car on my way to work then hurry up and wipe my tears before I clock in and on my way home I did the exact same thing. I would ask God for the strength to be healed from this pain but then push him away. I was hurt and angry and didn't understand why so many bad things was happening to me. then my wife got 🤒 and then my aunt got 🤒 finally i got 🤒 and ended up at the ER. I found myself on my knees crying and praying to God to save me for this illness and to please forgive me for my sins, I told him that I repent and turn away from sin , I asked Jesus to come into my life and creat me a new heart, soul and my mind, lead me and let his will be done not mines 😔. I just wanted to share. Amen 🙏

God was protecting you from that tree 🎄.

It's nice that you want to give people hope. But what if I said to you, when you were feeling crushed by life's trials: "I'll help you, brother. But first you have to believe that I'm going to save you from your sorrows, and even if I don't seem to be helping you, you still have to assure me that you know I'm helping you. "And if you ever stop believing that I'm going to help you, I'm afraid I'll have to torture you--for a long time, actually. So, feeling better now?" Just remember, God never gives you more of a burden than you can bear..until you commit suicide. And then He'll have you thrown into a lake of fire forever. Because God is love, and that's how He rolls.

Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
