The problem in Kautilya's concept of Rajamandala is that every king in the mandala will naturally consider himself as the "bigger fish". So the criteria to determine the vijigisu, ari, madhyama and even udasina remains ambiguous.

I suggest my book "Governance for a New Era" for Dr. Abdullah. It is about advances in political science that could help create a new, democratic Afghanistan.

The challenges are mostly non military ie political. All haste was due to Atal Vajpayee wanting a favorable outcome before next election- and he got it. But hundreds of Fauzi’s died doing frontal attacks, some without adequate support, because PM wanted victory by a date. As for army part, they could have put their foot down agains this haste. But alas, Manekshaw was dead and no other officer could fill his big shoes of being a true faizis. These guys were mostly looking for the next promotion, less Brig Devender S. But one officer doesn’t define an army. Very sad.

3:14 : No. Incorrect. Relics and artifacts from the Buddhist period and subsequent eras are legally protected in the Maldives. Throughout Maldivian history, there's no record of anyone attempting to destroy these relics. Many are still being discovered buried under the sand or left untouched, just as they were millennia ago. While there may have been isolated incidents of idol destruction, they don't reflect the general attitude or actions of the entire Maldives. 10:30 The claim that Maldivians travel to Pakistani and Yemeni Madhrassas are absolutely incorrect and very misleading. Historically, Maldivians traveled to Pakistan for religious education, but that trend has since faded. Also no one in Maldives ever go to Yemen for education. Nowadays, if students go to Pakistan, it's primarily for medical studies through government scholarships. Contrarily, many Maldivians now pursue religious and other academic studies, like engineering, in countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, Jordan, Qatar, UAE, and other Gulf nations. 11:00 This is misleading too. It is not easy for radicals to function in Maldives. Religious sermons in the Maldives are closely regulated through licensing, and radicalization isn't tolerated. Those who show radical tendencies lose their license. Although unlicensed sermons are a concern, the Maldivian police intelligence and counter-terrorism units vigilantly monitor and address such threats to ensure community safety. On top of this, students, teachers and parents are made aware of radicalization and are always vigilant about it. Suspected radicals are usually reported to police. 12:25 Extremely misleading. Islamists were not involved in any way. It was not the end of democracy in the Maldives. It was thought to be a birth of it by some progressives. The resignation and removal of President Nasheed in 2012 was later determined not to be a coup, according to the REPORT OF THE COMMISSION OF NATIONAL INQUIRY, MALDIVES. Overseen by Professor John Packer, Sir Bruce Robertson, and Justice GP Selvam, the report states the event followed public opposition to the former government's unlawful detention of a court judge. There is no role of any Islamists or radicals. 13:23 The pictures presented is a misrepresentation and an affront to Maldivian women. While some women opt for the Muslim headscarf, others wear jeans or skirts. The selected images misleadingly implies a generalized situation in the Maldives, which is untrue. Using carefully chosen photos to suggest that fashion revolves solely around the headveil and that modern attire isn't worn is both deceptive and inappropriate. Lastly, I urge the members of the audience and organizers to be cautious of individuals who spread misinformation about the Maldives, seemingly driven by grievances against past governments. With four presidents in the last 13 years, Maldives is progressing in its democratic journey. These falsehoods overshadow genuine challenges faced by Maldivians. I urge Dr. Azra to address authentic issues we face in Maldives instead of perpetuating misleading narratives based on personal vendettas.

As a Meitei I feel Meiteis will need to know Meitei's long history and present it for others to see. The British and India severed the unbilical connection of Meties to the hills and forests of Manipur. The connection of Meitei to the land of Manipur is so strong that any real threat to the intergrity of Manipur will very likley result in a civil war and massacre Tankhuls and Kabui have closer ties with Meiteis. Maybe the Nagas of Manipur share more in common history with the Meiteis than they share with the Nagas of Nagaland. So there is possibility of concilation between the Nagas and the Meiteis. As for the Kukis, it seems that they have so much invested in the idea of an exclusivist Kuki homeland and considering the ongoing conflict with the Meiteis their leaders are likley to continue their campaign for homeland both above ground and underground. But chances are that Kukis resources and influnce will dwindle in Manipur if the GOI decides to crackdown on illegal migration and poppy cultivation and if SoO is genuinely investigated and scrutinised.

what a thinker, almost all the prediction came true , but one point he missed that chinese thinking has been to use force to sbjugate india to prevent it's cooperation with west which india need , I am quite sure that india policy maker would like to maintain peaceful relations to china but china's bri project passing through pok and border posture has ruined any hope for good ties , how long can india tolerates given the nature of it's potitics, the result is loss of both india and china , india will not get some peaceful time to groww and china will loose it chances to be number one in long term, if situations runs normally it is obvious that china and india will be competetes for no 1 and 2 in long run , if us want to hold no 1 position the best stretegy would be to make india and china fight by exploiting their difference, it would be stupid for either china or india to let their difference go to a fight level
