I like to imagine all 8 are there. Each one is taking a turn trying to rial up the Emperor. Each one fails to get him to follow...then the Smuggler gives it a shot. Everyone is just "Well, it can't hurt". And the Smuggler is the one who finally angered the Emperor.

Something i don't like about doing this story arc (and reason of why i skip it) it doesn't give you the balmorra headgear, only gives you a second chestpiece (you get a copy of it from the main story missions)

god i wish this could be adapted and made into an full video game. focusing on an imperial agent in the dromund kaas empire of the old republic. this story is my favorite of the bunch. and that's saying something because force users are usually the ones with the best stories and roles in star wars media but this one just hit the sweet spot in terms of intrigue, roleplay, and a villian that has zero force powers as well. I noticed Star wars almost always focuses on the force or some scrappy rebels but it almost never focuses on imperials or imperial adjacent entites or their intelligence agencies and it also almost never focuses on technology. it's always almost frozen in time. We see the empire everywhere and stormtrooper just pushing people around. Id like a story focusing on this era where Imperial intelligence isnt winning or losing, they are head to head with the republic's intelligence agency. a story like this that focuses on cover operations and makes your main enemy compelling is just chefs kiss levels of perfect for me. I hope I live to see a story inspired by this some day in star wars because it is just untapped potential to the max if I've ever seen it.

I do not understand the logic in that, if you override her the Rakata will keep experimenting with "slave species" isn't that evil? And if you release her she will see for her childrens making them "better" isn't that a good doing?
