In my opinion so far the best vibe was at Karpathos Lakki town, Patmos Island had also similar vibes to Kos but alot smaller 😊 Merry Christmas and stay well🥰😊

how big part of the beach is reserved for the hotel use and / or paid? Are there many places where you can simply park and sit by the sea without crossing a fence or paying anyone?

In IXIA mostly hotels have their own hotel area with pools and beach is mainly free, so you can access it from anywhere and yes the promenade is full of benches where you can just sit and enjoy the view. Kato Petres walking path is also near and it has the best views in town 🥰❤️✌️

@@looneytravels you can record a gpx file with almost anything made for navigation, or export from Strava even, then there are some apps to animate the tracks. Might be something dedicated to do it all at once too, dunno about that

Another fabulous video Joosep! I really like your choice of music. It's the kind of music I listen to a lot ! It is strange they close some shops during the day, but I guess it is so hot. It's cold and icy in the UK right now , so it's lovely to see the warm Greek sunshine again. Kalymnos looks nice. We are planning our trip to Kefalonia 2025 🥰 - Kos will be a great video, I know this is a popular Island !

Thanks Dave! I am just experimenting with music hehe. Yeah closing shops is the main thing we come across with these hopping videos...it is hot but most of the time shopkeepers sit inside the building and enjoy AC , so it is more like traditional way to rest during the day 😁 Stay warm in UK, we have massive storm from yesterday. Whole island is flooded and bridges broken and cars drown, except where I stay in South. I think I have to go and water my plants as we are not getting any rain here. I am looking forward to Kefalonia videos! 😊✌️✌️✌️

I laughed when you said this island has enough money, that they close the supermarket. You're probably too young to know but that's not down to lots of money, that's how all the Greek Islands used to work, due to the heat in the afternoon, it just means it's a more traditional island. The restaurant at Lientou beach usually serve you as soon as possible, so I guess they were either very busy or short staffed, and someone was waiting on as well as helping in the kitchen. There are also lots of cats but there are two lively volunteers who look after them around the whole island and there are feeding stations, so the cats know where to hang around. I know where you stayed, I stayed just across the square out front, and up the path, and there weren't a lot of cats up there, but more near the ferry port and around restaurant Manolis in the evening. Although the shops close, you may have found out the bakery where you bought your pastry, don't close, so you can get pies, sandwiches, pizza to go, and a whole range of other meals & snacks if you sit in. I loved Lipsi, only disappointing part to me, was the reaction of some locals towards the cats when you feed them, even if you don't leave any mess or do it outside someone's property.

Shopping during day is quite hard on many islands due to 2pm-5pm 😅 Lipsi was nice indeed, hopefully one day I can return to explore everything ✌️ Thank you for your support

Another lovely video Joosep! it looks soo peaceful ! But it sucks that all the rentals were all sold out. Taxis must be expensive ! I love the music in this video too - it’s so chilling and I love the ukulele- reminds me of my Hawaii days. I think Chapel is the right word to describe the smaller buildings 😊 Maybe you could have left your backpacks at a bar near the apartment !?! I hear you have the buz sound when the microphone connects. I get that a lot but only recently discovered why it was doing that noise 😂 It’s so good that you show us all of these islands that I’ve never heard of! It is so small Island that you could explore it with taxi... 😅 Yeah I usually cut out the buzzing sound but if it is in the middle of talking then no way to get rid of that 🫠 This backpack contains everything I own, too precious to let it go. This sound was from YT library this time, they have added some music that you can actually use haha

I secretly do 😊. Price difference is mainly for accomodation. You get food/drinks usually 15-20€/ person and it all depends when are you visiting. Rental prices change depending on the month, sometimes even 100-200% 🫠

I jumped from the highest point of that jumping point. First I set my camera, hit capture and jumped. After I survived the jump somehow I checked the camera and the footage was just 0.5 secs long :D:D:D.. So I had to jump the second time now with correctly set camera and now I knew what the jump feels like and it was easier :) It was back in august this year. This is the highest jump I ever did and probably the highest that I will ever do. Or? :)

Oh you are the brave one😅 I guess I am not as young any more as I developed a scare of hights last year when we visited Jacobs Canyon in Rhodes. From that point on I think I am not jumping from anywhere 😁😁 Did you atleast get a good footage? 😋

Interesting video. What does it mean when you say, 'we aren't religious but more spiritual'? I've heard people say similar things but they are never able to articulate it's meaning.

Thank you! Spiritual for us means we dont't belong to any religious group and don't go to church on sundays and for us we do not have particular God, for us it is more like we believe that there is a higher power but we call it the Universe, everything around us is energy. You attract energy , you get what you ask and what you are. I think the deep meaning is the same for everyone but the we name it differently and we do different rituals. For example for us it is important that there is a good energy around us, our house and things are set up using Feng Shui techniques, we try to be good to others because you attract what you are. Positive thinking, giving back, afformations, tarot cards readings, making dreamboards, writing down goals and who we want to become etc etc.

@Helsinkipop Patriotism is widely spread in Estonia(mostly because there is so few Estonians) yes but not for us. "Maausk" meaning is more like taking actions in own hands, punishments, legal actions etc and it is far away from us. We believe in police, rules and common sense are neccesary in this world. I like to be free spirit but I respect the rules and let thing settle as they are ment to be. Mainly I like to do my own thing, not to be bothered and more like believe in myself and my actions as everything will come back to you☺️

We have been to this beach today (Agatha). Looks very different. No parasols or sunbeds. The beach bar was still there but not serving. We quite liked it because there weren’t many visitors. Thought you might like an update

Love the greek isles, just been to rhodes mid sept and its amazing to see those beaches without all the sunbeds and people. We walked most of the same places as yourselves. We enjoyed Rhodes but it wasnt one of our favourites . I've subscribed and wish you both all the best from uk , I'm sure things will improve for you 😉
