How can I avoid emotional breakdown in front of learners
@elizabethwall80637 күн бұрын
Thanks for the thoughtful video. I started substitute teaching a few months ago, and I’m enjoying the kids so much that I’m thinking of getting my teaching license eventually as a second career in my late 40s. I’m also a mom of four, and my kids have had a couple of miserable teachers over the years who were obviously burned out and did not want to be there, and the kids suffered because of it. For all those reasons, I have two requests for teachers who are feeling burned out themselves. One, if you are truly miserable and taking it out on your students, PLEASE, PLEASE do everyone a favor and find a new career. Two, please stop with the “Why I Quit Teaching” videos and negative comments online. All you are accomplishing is discouraging people from becoming teachers. If you’re trying to break the system more than it is already broken by encouraging teachers to quit “en masse” because you think that’s what it will take for real change to occur, I’m here to tell you that you’re going to make a lot of kids suffer in the process because you’re just dragging the whole system down even more.

I wanted to be a math teacher but school officials, particularly the DOE, discouraged me from chasing my dream. I also recall CUNY guidance counselors discouraging me from pursuing my academic objectives. This was all done in an effort to keep certain minorities from reaching success and job security. So, I did others things with my life. Now at 59 years old with three college degrees, I find myself working as a security guard making peanuts for a living in a dead-end job. How about that for a story? Note: I also worked as a sub teacher in NYC for 8 years (2000-2008).

Haha nope! Teaching full time and KZbin has definitely taken a back seat for now lol I definitely lost my drive going back from Covid but this school year has been great, I just had to stick it through.

I used the elf wow brown in Deep Brown it add a lot of fibers and makes it seem like you have more hair than you do and the Anastasia brow gel to hold them up

No hate at all but I think you should start asking for samples if you are not sure about something. Im not sure if you were aware but all of the products you are now returning will be thrown out as you tested them already making them unable to resell them. The earth will thank you 💕
@amandaros3Ай бұрын
Nope, didn't know that, I thought they were used as testers in the store since they are opened. But thanks for letting me know. All of the makeup was purchased online so samples weren't an option when I bought them but the fragrances were bought in store. Now I know for next time. Also, as a plant based eater for 7 years, the earth is kinda proud of me lol but reducing plastic and waste is always a win. Thank you for taking the time to write.

You are right about finding cool planners at places like Burlingtons, Ross, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx.
@pamelaimagines92362 ай бұрын
I love that you are so honest, a believer, and share realistic tips for whatever topic you talk about. I purchased another planner that was clearance at Hobby Lobby for 90% off and feel hopeful as I plan. Each month I write in a positive word (Ex. Calm, Hope, Renew, or etc). Each week, I have a focus area such as nutrition, health, fitness, and/or self-care. I usually slack off as well, but get right back to it when I can. Life can be busy and exhausting. I have loved planning for years. I think writing down our dreams and goals in a safe place gives us hope. If I accomplish the goal, I make a new one. If I don't, I adapt and keep moving forward. I divide my daily pages into teaching, home, and life. I will try to fill in the blank days with quotes, scriptures, or positive stickers

We need more videos like this. I know teaching isn't for the faint of heart, but there are so many videos about why people should leave the profession and not enough showing the good thats still in the profession.

Hi! Do you use one full dropper tube and spilt it up between each section or refill dropper with each section? Thanks 😊

Hi, I never really counted but I think I used about 2 drops. One from the front of my head to the back and probably half and half on each side of my head, where my baby hairs were not as prominent.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (age 11-13). HIGH SCHOOL (age 14-18). In my experience, Middle schoolers are less mature but more active and energetic. High schoolers are mature, focus and pay attention, & are less energetic & active. High schoolers aren’t engaged. Middle schoolers are engaged. High school behaviors are easier to manage and control due to maturity. Middle school behaviors are harder to manage and control due to immaturity. Middle schoolers usually have better personalities than high schoolers, but schoolers talk less than middle schoolers.
